Go Hawks!!! I want an American team to take the Stanley Cup since Canada won in the Olympics (yes, I am aware that 80% of the players on any team are Canadian anyway, but still.) I think the victory against the Canucks was pretty decisive and it’s great that they didn’t lose a single game on the road this series, which is a great sign. Come on boys, bring that cup to Chicago, it’s been too long!

Missed it… It was either that or UFC, and I chose UFC. I kept checking the score though. Wasn’t expecting so much scoring, but hey, it must have been one hell of a game.

@ grmpysmrf - Keys to the city has a good solid driving bass line but that’s about it. The lyrics are totally cheesy, embarrassing to Ministry fans and Blackhawks fans alike. I’ve been to a couple of games this season and have never heard them play it.
@ emseaeye - yeah the goaltending was pretty atrocious that game wasn’t it? In the series against the Sharks Niemi blocked 44 shots only allowing 1 goal, so when he’s hot he’s hot. It’s also his rookie year in the NHL so I think he shows lots of potential.

Didn’t see that but I know what your talking about Pronger came from the ducks and it’s too bad he plays dirty sometimes 'cause he’s a damn good defensmen without adding the shiftiness to his game.
I didn’t actually “watch” the game I just had it on while I was cleaning up the house. so I would catch snippets here and there but I heard the commentators all the way… I love Hockey commentators you don’t need to watch to know exactly what is going on…
They call a game the way the famous Chick Hearn used to call games. I thought that style Died with Chick until I started really paying attention to hockey…

Goddamn, Hawks play like shit the first game and manage to win, play ok the second game and manage to win, and play pretty good (not bad, better than the first 2 games but not great either) and lose the third game!
I guess it was the Flyers, they looked great and really brought it to them. Kane finally scored for the first time in several games so hopefully the first line of Kane and Toews can get back in gear, cause damn we sure need em!
Man I missed game 4 but looking at the box score I didn’t miss much… 5-3 sux for the hawks hope they get their shit together!
