What I live for (well not really): NHL

I hope PRONGER has a great game tomorrow night, and we go to a winner-takes-all Game Seven. I don’t want it to end. Go Flyers!

This. Hopefully this isn’t a repeat of the last game. That was horrible.

Afra must be losing his mind right now. Game 6 is nuts! Just waiting for OT to start…

1002

I thought the Blackhawks had it. They were relentless in that second period, but the Flyers kept fighting back down the stretch in the third. Great series no matter who wins! Sudden death OT!

missed OT and switched the channel back as they were shaking hands [:(]
Why were they booing the shit out of the commissioner?
Late,

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks. Great series. What an ending…

Congratulations Flyers… you guys really gave us a run for our money…

Tying it up at the end of the 3rd… you guys were fierce, kept us Chicago fans on the edge of our seats… congrats Flyers for an amazing comeback (repeated comeback) season!!!

And yes HAWKS for the first time in 49 years hells yeah!!!

The best part about the Hawks winning. (Even though I was going for the Flyers) because they beat my Habs). Is that now Toronto is the team with the longest space between cup victories. And I hate the Leafs.

Great game though. Too bad it didn’t go to a game 7 and they win it at home, but I guess they’ll take it.

What’s the mood like in Chicago today? Everyone playing Keys to the City?=)

Al must be a happy man today.
Why, he may even crack open a bottle of wine to celebrate!

This literally made me spit-take all over my laptop.

The City of Chicago is nuts - every other person with a Hawks shirt on this morning. I went to Game 5 of the finals (the best game to watch I think, of the series) and even met Ron Maclean from CBC’s Hockey Night In Canada:

Class guy. What a superb thing the Hawks have done - rebuild their team from nothing and have re-generated a whole wave of fans.

That’s awesome that you met Ron McClean. Awesome guy. Although I try and watch the games in french here (since the commentators are better), I always liked Ron McClean when the games are not on in french.

Too bad you didn’t meet Don Cherry. Now there’s a character!

Good to see the fans in Chicago are excited. It was a long time coming.

The Cup is making it’s rounds in Chicago. Toews here with the Cup from a place not too far from where I live.
