Mr. Watts. He was super nice too.
on sunday night as KMFDM was ending their set i got a chance to chat with Ray in the crowd. He was asking how the sound was, was it better than the previous set they did, etc. then we talked about how excited we both were to see RevCo. He was really looking forward to it. We chatted about random crap and then people noticed who I was talking to and a small group started to form. I backed off and let some others have some facetime. Really, really nice fucking guy, and was really happy to be there and see all the bands and perform these songs with those people again. think i overheard him say there are no current plans for him musically, but don’t quote me on that.
He wasn’t too social when I met him but he was probably in a bad mood. His kids are why there’s been a big gap since the last PIG album(and the debacle that was the All Hamerican PIG Show '06) but that’s a perfectly good reason to quit ur day job. Awesome you got to meet him.
That is what we gathered also. He’s happy being a dad to his children.
He’s talking about doing a new album though. I think he knows he’s been out of the game for awhile
At the airport, Phoenix-bound. I have the whole Cocks show on video, shot from the balcony, looks great.just met Patrick and Richard from 242 at my hotel as I was checking out. Got to chat with R23 for about 10 minutes, and got a photo (my only photo with a musician!) he said he was supposed to sing No Devotion on Saturday, but was losing his voice after Friday, hence Luc winging it on vox. I will write full review this week. As far as I’m concerned, this was a dream-come-true weekend as a Wax Trax fan. All of the musicians were super cool and friendly, and the same goes for the prongers. I’ll be sharing video and pics as soon as I get situated back home

Another Raymond story. I’ll have a better one than the one time I met him. Awesome.
Great time. I’m waiting to hear about a lawsuit against Chris for stating “We are the Revolting Cocks” which is a completely true statement but we know there are some who see it differently.
Cigarettes, sharpies, posters, and gravity do not mix but they make for a great Raymond story. [cool]

You don’t need Al for it to be RevCo even if he is one of the founding members. Hell you didn’t even really need Luc up there since all he did was sing 2 songs and act obnoxious(even though it was entertaining). The only thing I’d wanna see Al do with them is recreate the magic that is You Often Forget.
They really should think about doing a mini tour or something and call themselves “Not The Revolting Cocks.” Looks like a really good time!!
Late,

Why not just call it RevCo World? Luc had a band with that name for awhile

Godlike was played very different than the version I know. Barely recognized it.[/reply]
Perhaps it was heavy like the Chicago Trax version?[/reply]
Not sure. I don’t know that version. Basically, the lyrics were the same but otherwise it sounded like a different song. At least to me.[/reply]
Ur right! Godlike is hella different. Almost like this rendition better

Bummed I didn’t go, but some downtime with the Ma needed to happen. Fack. Props to everyone involved. Something wonderful, indeed.
EDIT: Btw who the fuck is Jamie Duffy?
Guitarist for Acumen Nation–a Chicago-based industrial rock band. He is also involved in a drum n’ bass side project called DJ? Acucrack.
