I like it.

Groovy Man!

My God that was horrendous.

I don’t like the sound of Hell Kat Klub.
However the last time I saw TKK at the DNA lounge in SF was AMAZING. I’m hoping to make it to the upcoming s.f show but have a scheduling conflict. I wish they would’ve scheduled it for Sunday or even Monday as they have those days open, and they wouldn’t compete against the Peter Murphy concert/ my flight out of town.

Literally, I just contacted the club manager and the band through their website letting them know.
And the club manager texted me back stating that the band couldn’t commit to Sunday, which is unfortunate as he wanted to see Peter Murphy aswell.

Another new track. Much better than Hell Kat Klub.

Agreed…cool track.

Now see. . .I much prefer the previous track. This one is boring.

Are TKK still good live? First I saw gem was off Sexplosion and they were amazing. Seen them maybe 3-4 times since and felt they got a little worse each time. Last time I saw them was on the Evil Doer tour, where they absolutely sucked. It was a sad moment (though that was turned around when Ministry did a shockingly energetic and good set right after).

I saw them in 1999 at the Hollywood Athletic Club and they were amazing, Levi was on bass and they have 2 or more girls singing/dancing, it was full on theatrics. Then I saw them in Halloween in 2002 at the Fonda Theatre and it was a bare bones line-up, it was Groovie, Buzz, I think Levi was there and they borrowed the girl from the opening band. It was pretty lifeless.

Heard 3 new songs yesterday. They’re all good, but all sound like rehashes of previous albums. I’ll definitely be getting this one next week either way, along with my ticket.

Sounds like it would belong on 13 Above The Night. It’s also 13 days til they come my way. Time to revisit some of the older albums I’m not as familiar with and I still need to get Spooky Tricks. Anyone hear it besides whats been posted on here?

Yeah, bought it a few weeks ago.

Sorry to say, it didn’t do much for me. Mostly generic dance music. Only 3 songs made it to the iPod.

I’ll still got to the show, but I hope they mostly play older stuff.

I’ll be seeing them this Friday in Columbus. Can’t wait!

The new album really grew on me. Better than Death Threat. It sounds like a modern Sexplosion!-13 Above the Night hybrid. Neon Diva, Diamonde Doll, and The Way We Live Now are my favorite tracks. Can’t get enough of that sleazy disco cheese.

I’ll be at the Whiskey show with a couple friends if anyone wants to have a drink/chill before hand, hit me up.

From the chunk I heard, it sounds like a grower. Some TKK albums are like that, but better than Death Threat? That’s saying a lot. Agreed on “The Way We Live Now.” If only I wasn’t the only person going to the SF show.

I would agree that its’ closest relative is 13 Above The Night. And I didn’t really care for that one either.

But if you do, you’ll probably dig this one.

13 was certainly a grower. It had it its share of filler and could benefit from a rearranged track list.

Yeah, I like Death Threat but this one has garnered more listens for some reason. Standouts on Death Threat are Lone Road and Bottoms Up. I can’t remember if they played These Remains last couple of tours but I hope they do this time. Throw in Hand in Hand and I’ll be a happy camper.

They put on a great show last night in Columbus! I picked up their latest CD…really digging it.

Awesome! Don’t go into the specifics, but did they bust out a lot of deep cuts this time around?

It was a good mix. They played several classics, some new material and some lesser known stuff.
