Unexpectedly stylish and refined. I really like it. Hope he can conjure up his old melodic sensibilities again. Although, it’s not exactly “the fastest music ever recorded”. Then again, maybe he meant that the recording process itself was quick and not the tempo.

He recently mentioned the 1st half is super fast and the second half he was stoned so it’s more mellow.
Great video, but i really don’t like the song at all. It’s ok for 30 seconds, but the same thing for 5 minutes or whatever, it just gets boring. He’s sounding good though. I pre-ordered a copy today but i’m still not sure about it. It may join Buck Satan in the “Al projects i thought were shit” section.

Really? Wow. its so hypnotic. I mustve listened to it a 100 times easy before i realized the entire run of lyrics is “i’m invisible.” I would throughly embrace and enjoy an entire album of this stuff.

I’m with you on this one. It’s fucking awesome that it’s so different. But, ultimately I find the song boring and lacking of any memorable lyric or hook. That said, it’s the last song on the album, where it could potentially work very well.

Yes, that’s exactly right! As an end of album song i could probably tolerate it ok but as an actual song i honestly don’t really like it much at all. It’s not that it’s so different from Ministry or anything, it’s more that it’s only one riff, fuck all happens, one slight change would make it a much better track.
The song is mediocre but the fact it’s Al doing something so radically different sounding to the last 15yrs of crap makes it such a hit with us haha.
Ideally I think Al should get rid of the silly samples and drum machines and just hire a drummer & bass player and make minimal & organic slow music that he sings over as his voice minus the stupid effects and yelling is pretty interesting. That would be a proper aged progression from Ministry and to be honest it’d have way more integrity AND I think it’s sell a lot more.
This video and song are worth the price of admission (and indeed the price of the album) solely for the scene where he’s all “What the fuck, man?” about a Nickelback CD.
I like the track. I agree that it seems hella copypasted and aimlessly plods along for no reason, but it’s really fun regardless and someone on Facebook said it was basically Al being his own Big Lebowski. Perfect.
I hope this record is just all over the place and a complete mess. [:)]
Yeah, I like it pretty well though am really sad to hear that Al doesn’t like meet and greets, I thought he loved DIY punk style meet and greets at $1k a plate.
