Wow dude…you just described my exact experinece with that execrable film…I decided to watch it because my gf really likes Seth Rogen and I’ve always like his stuff too…big mistake…that movie was a diarreah milkshake…I mean just rancid…
Shame on us. We should have known that a movie called “Funny People” starring a bunch of comedians would be one of the least funny or fun movies we would ever see.

When is season 4 of Eastbound and Down coming back?..can’t wait for that shit…glad they decided to do one more…
I don’t know. I still need to buy Season 3 on DVD.
I don’t have HBO so this is the only way I see it.
I’d really like to see Aaron and Hector back on the show. Aaron is a total badass.
Eastbound and Down is brilliant. Season 2 sucked after the first few episodes but 3 was much better. The first season is gold. Every episode stands out. Hopefully season 4 lives up to the first one.

I didn’t think Season 2 sucked, per se, but it certainly wasn’t the powerhouse that Season 1 was. You’re right. Every episode was just pure magic.
I keep hoping Best Buy will mark down Season 3 some time. I hate spending $30 for 3 hours of television.
That episode at Ashley Shaffers plantation was particularly bizarre and hilarious…with Stevie dressed up as a Geisha, getting pimped out to Asian businessmen…hahahaha oh man that was so fucked up…
Beyond the Hills. Brilliant Romanian film by same guy who made 4Months, 3 Weeks, 2Days. A long ordeal but worth it.
@ Gunnar: ‘Downfall’ is a feature film from about 10 years ago. It has that scene of Hitler (played by Bruno Ganz) which has been used countless times now for funny (and not funny) skits where der fuhrer’s German ranting is subtitled with alternative dialogue.
