You can probably count on it. Now that Ministry has come to it’s end, it would only make sense to start releasing vault material and new mixes.
There is probably going to be more early stuff to come, as this set doesn’t have everything. I doubt Cleo wanted to throw all of their eggs in one basket.
Hopefully there are just as many unreleased goodies from the Sire/Warner Bros years.
My take on the unreleased tracks:
1-8. Same Old Madness (1982) - This may be the un-“remixed” version. It’s more polished than the video version, and doesn’t have the vocal cuts that the Twelve Inch Singles version has.
1-9. I’ll Do Anything For You (1984) - Not sure if this is the rerecorded version that just surfaced, but will hopefully be an un-altered one
1-12. I See Red (1985) - This is a studio version. Not one of the versions from the Twitch practice sessions.
1-13. Where Are You At Now? (1985) Not sure, but hopefully a new (old) version of this. They don’t have the rights to the Twitch version, so it will likely at least be a different take. Hopefully an entirely different version.
2-5. I’m Falling (alt mix 1981) - Same as the Early Trax version
2-6. Work For Love (demo 1982) - Almost surely from the recently-surfaced With Sympathy demos cassette
2-7. I Wanted To Tell Her (demo 1982) - same as 2-6
2-8. Same Old Madness (demo 1982) - same as 2-6. This would also be the version from the recent Twelve Inch Singles release
2-9. She’s Got A Cause (demo 1982) - Same as 2-6
2-10. Revenge (Piano Intro) (demo 1982) - Same as 2-6. Oddly enough, if this is that version, it’s not really the “piano intro” version.
2-11. The Game Is Over (demo 1983) - You’ve heard this by now
2-12. Let’s Be Happy (demo 1983) - Same source and sessions as The Game Is Over
2-13. Same Old Scene (demo 1983) - Same source as The Game Is Over, but likely a different session
2-14. Wait (demo 1983) - Different source from The Game Is Over and likely an 84 demo. This was done at the same time as early demos of Halloween.
7-1. Same Old Madness (Video Version) (1982) - Sourced from the video
7-2. Never Asked For Nothing (live Detroit 7.10.82) - Sourced from the best-quality source of the show available in trading circles
7-3. Love Change (live Detroit 7.10.82) - same as 7-2
7-4. What Is The Reason (live Detroit 7.10.82) - Same as 7-2
7-5. America (live Detroit 7.10.82) - Same as 7-2
7-6. Revolting Cocks: (Let’s Get) Physical (Banned original mix) (1989) - This was actually released officially on that Alternative press compilation way back when
7-8. Revolting Cocks: Fish In Cold Water (1985) - The only version of this that I know of cuts off at 1 minute. Hopefully they have another source that’s complete. Good song with Luc on vocals.
7-9. Ministry: Self Annoyed - No idea. I’m really hopeful for it
7-12. 1000 Homo DJs: Supernaut (dub mix) (1990) - No idea, but hopefully it’s actually from 1990 and not an awful new mixxx

There are quite a few others. No idea if they’ll ever see the light of day officially. Not sure why they didn’t include the Halloween demos. Those would have fit perfectly. Can’t remember if I shared both of them here, but I know I shared at least 1 around the same time as Wait.
Hey Bisquit, are you at liberty to discuss how you’ve heard the tracks? We obviously know that you’ve had access to some for a while; have you heard the Trax Box stuff because of the impending release, or is this all old hat for you?
Also: Jealousy.
EDIT: Okay, if I read your full post I’d see that some of it is new. Still curious about your connection, and what else is unreleased. More demos, or more completely unreleased songs?
I contributed some, but most of this was from the vaults. I think Al gave them a pile of old stuff when they did the licensing agreement. I haven’t heard anything from this set in advance. The versions of tracks I have heard are all the bootleg versions I’ve gotten over the years. My guesses as to the sources are just that. But I’m pretty sure on most of those.
I contributed some,
well that’s a trip. you supplied audio that is on the box? cool. how much? Did you donate it for the #0001 item in return?

Interesting. I’ve heard of this shorter version of Same Old Madness. Is it the same mix as the polished version, minus the 12" dub/vocal cuts stuff?
I really hope they include this version, but Cleo has been known to put the same track twice on the same compilation, only labeled differently. They did this with the Nature of Love (Cruelty Mix) on the Twelve Inch Singles re-issue.
1-12. I See Red (1985) - This is a studio version. Not one of the versions from the Twitch practice sessions.
Whoah! Cool! I didn’t know the proper studio version was out there.
1-13. Where Are You At Now? (1985) Not sure, but hopefully a new (old) version of this. They don’t have the rights to the Twitch version, so it will likely at least be a different take. Hopefully an entirely different version.
I’m hoping for a alternate version as well. Maybe it is something similar to the Twitch Practice/Live version?
Also, ITT tech had this commercial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io3-SzFyKKU that is either a rip off of the track, or they were licensed a mix. Interesting none the less.
2-10. Revenge (Piano Intro) (demo 1982) - Same as 2-6. Oddly enough, if this is that version, it’s not really the “piano intro” version.
I think I have only heard this version of the demo. There is one on youtube where the piano intro is slightly longer, but both do have a piano type sound. Is there a different one floating around out there?
My guess is they are using those recently discovered With Sympathy demos. To me, they are too similar to the released versions. I was hoping that they used the early demos, the ones that had alternate lyrics and instrumentation.
I’m interested in hearing what the early live stuff sounds like.
I remember that ITT Tech commercial. Similar sounds, but I dint think its a version of the song.
HAHA!!! I remember that ITT commercial too (it’s older than '94). When I finally got TWITCH it was the first thing I thought about when hearing that song.
thanks for the breakdown bis. really cool you were involved with the process. as always, a huge thank you for all your hard work over the years…this is one of the coolest things on your resume for sure!
time to see how much other stuff you know/are hiding from us!
any news on if this will be released digitally as well? I’m one of those “streaming music” guys with google play music (literally the only way I can listen to music these days anyway, no ways to listen to physical media)

No news yet, but I’m guessing they will.
I contributed some
How did they know to get ahold of you?

Ask Cleopatra if they’re sending you an artist copy.
Is it too early to start speculating future releases?
I was thinking and hopefully Cleo has these lined up:
3/12/82 (earliest known live recording with several tracks not on Trax! Box)
7/20/83 DVD (I have no doubt there is a good master recording of this professionally shot/recorded show, plus So So Life would be a selling point)
10/06/84 DVD ( footage can be seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij1GeZGxhds I’m assuming someone has a full length master recording. This show should also include “Do You Even Like It” and “Ricky’s Hand”)
Twitch 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition
Box reissue
In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up dvd
“The Expanded Mind” - album, b-sdies, remixes and DVD.
^Man, that would be awesome! Mind is one my all time favorites.
Once he exhausts all the early material, he needs to go through the rest of the catalog.
I can’t wait to see what’s laying around from Twitch/Land/Mind
“The Expanded Mind” - album, b-sdies, remixes and DVD.
Are there any known b-sides from that period?
