i’m still in as ‘we are not broken’, although i don’t have anything finished yet. i’ve had to move house and had a load of personal issues to deal with lately, so music has taken a back seat. i should still be able to get something done though.

Nursing Home “City on a Hill” is done, along with the in-between vignettes.
Right now as I type we are mixing Majestic Imperial “Decadent Skull” with my engineer roommate. The song is the result of our ongoing attempt to marry a chic modern indie rock melodic sensibility with an aggressive tribal Industrial dirge. It’s quite unique IMO.

I have to agree with this, even as an in-joke, a track with that title won’t be on this comp. I am a reasonable guy, but as my son is half black this issue might hit me a bit closer than most others here. While I can take the piss a bit, something that blatant is in rather poor taste in my opinion.
Not to be a pooper on anyone’s party but as whatever costs involved with doing this comp (be it mastering, paying Simon for the layout ect…) is coming out of my pocket and no one else’s I don’t foresee something this inflammatory ending up on there.
