New Nine Inch Nails coming

good 3 part interview here: http://kroq.cbslocal.com/kevin-bean-interview-nine-inch-nails-trent-reznor/

I’m trying to help you out, dude. The IP from the posts made that I was not aware of were made from one of the IPs I actually use. I know who/what happened and it’s been taken care of. It was not related to a “virus”.

Norton isn’t solving any of your problems. That’s the point. It’s causing them and then “solving” them. To put it bluntly: it’s a fucking scam. There are free anti-virus software online that are far superior to that shady Norton bloated, bullfuck.

To reply bluntly you’re an idiot. Norton is one of the best antimalware programs out there. Sure theres some things out there that handle things better, but calling it a scam is down right pathetic coming from an idiot who knows nothing about technology. Do yourself kid and shut up you know nothing about.

Norton has won tons of awards for the last 3 years. However, there was a time in the middle 2ks where its reliability and stability were very very poor.

And I’ve thought for a long time that antivirus companies are the biggest creators of new viruses because then they can be “the best” at removing such and such new virus and garner new subscribers.

Well, that was a reasonable, respectable way to respond. I’ll do you the same.

It is a scam, you fucking twat. Way to get butthurt over some shit company you’re obviously emotionally invested in. I’ve had Norton and it slowed down my PC noticeable and, unsurprisingly, when I had Norton my computer wound up getting the most viruses.

And it would make perfect sense for an antivirus software to make false claims that your computer is infected. That way you either upgrade from the trial version and/or are under the impression that you need this software because it’s supposedly doing it’s job and will continue forking out money for some bullshit you could be getting for free that actually works.

So, do yourself a favor and shut up. You clearly know fuck-all about anything technology wise, kid.

That would be like saying the makers of Pepto Bismal all run taco stands. Ridiculous.[/reply]

Not ridiculous at all. It makes perfect sense. It’s not a conspiracy theory. Just a smart way to make money.

That would be like saying the makers of Pepto Bismal all run taco stands. Ridiculous.

I’ll briefly enter the nerdy foray here with my 2 cents…

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not but it’s not really the right analogy.

Running a bunch of taco stands throughout the country is some serious local level shit whereas distributing viruses can be done all from one central facility. The taco thing would be way more complicated and not nearly as effective. For one, not everyone eats tacos, then you have health codes and shit…

Viruses I imagine are more difficult to track—if the programmers are very advanced—than dirty taco stands…

Regarding the debate at hand, I know fuck all about computer technology shit so I have no opinion other than it seems entirely plausible to me that a virus software company would also produce viruses…

Not even close to the same thing… but I’m sure if you look into the makers of pepto you will see that they probably do own some kind of spicy food type products just because all of those companies own way different types ofstuff. Ie nabisco is owned by phillip morris or vice versa

And let me reply to you in a similar fashion.

Kid it’s time to unplug the computer, return the IP lease to your ISP and go back to school and at least get a GED. Eventually, you’ll get a gold star to stick on your parents fridge.

Your conspirasy theory as stupid as they come. Obviously you have no realization that free usually more likely to infect you with a virus, backdoor, rootkit, trojan horse, spyware, worms, and/or etc. They to label free as bogusware, because it claims it found a threat when it’s creating threats.

All you’re doing is attempting a social engineering attack by saying the opposite of what I say to gain information that will compromise my identify or others. Do yourself a favor

Nope. You’re wrong. And I’m not claiming that all free software doesn’t have viruses. Calling me “kid” and making lame insults isn’t going to help your argument.

I’m attempting a “social engineering attack”? Trying to “gain information that will compromise [your] identity and others”? What the fuck are you talking about? You need to elaborate on that last part.

Anyway, the video for “Came Back Haunted” directed by David Lynch came out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RN6pT3zL44

You need to learn how to use a fucking computer, grandpa. It’s fucking isohunt. If that shit was tainted it’d be deleted or filled with negative feedback stating so. With that community and TPB virus filled bullshit typically gets called out instantly.[/reply]
isohunt, really!? who uses torrents anymore? when YOU learn to use a computer you will also be able to d/l bluray movies before they leave the theaters and in many cases BEFORE they even reach the theaters…isohunt/torrents…WILMA!!!

I… wait, what? I do. isohunt or tpb since demonoid went down. Seriously, is there a better, faster, more convenient way to obtain files other than torrents? And please don’t respond with shitty mediafire type sites.

Unless you want to pay for premium services, i don’t think there is. Isohunt is fine, and anything you pay for on one of those fancy services will be on there sooner or later as it spreads. I didn’t realise there was such snobbery towards torrents, they’re good enough for me personally.

This is the first time I’ve encountered anyone who showed any snobbery towards torrents and made statements as if torrent sites don’t have movies/R5s available before they’re released.

The one who started the lame insults was you. You expect everyone to respect your opinion, and when you don’t get your way? Throw a temper tantrum, just like a little kid, even its absurd conspiray theories. It got old on the PA, why do you think everyone left christ himself? You take the fun out of everything, by making it all be the same.

I had a feeling you were another pathetic e-stalker. I suppose that’s why you’re so paranoid about me obtaining “information that will compromise [your] identity and others”. Since you clearly have been on my nuts for some time now you obviously are aware that I do not care about people’s personal info and never have.

I don’t expect anyone to respect my opinion.

Temper tantrum? You’re the one whining about me and how mean I am. Making up shit that never happened about a forum that’s been dead for quite a while now.

And it’s conspiracy… con-spir-acy. Not that it matters because nothing I’ve stated is a conspiracy theory. You though… you seem pretty paranoid that I’m conspiring some “social engineering attack”. Take off the tin-foil and get a life.

So you are “christ himself” from that forum.
That explains so much. It really does.

So can we comment on the underwhelming, seizure-inducing “Came Back Haunted” music video now?

Yeah, that video sucks something fierce, huh?

Yeah, that video sucks something fierce, huh?

Well it would be interesting for some Pitchfork Media aspiring goth hipster band, but for a collaboration between these two it’s quite a massive turd.

Feels like the collaboration between these two is too little too late. The Lost Highway soundtrack was a masterpiece but the “Came Back Haunted” music video…maybe should have been shelved along with Tapeworm, the Zach de la Rocha solo album, and other Reznor collabs with big names that just didn’t live up to the hype…
