I still contend that the Bush Trilogy is a better set than Animositosimia (that record is complete rubbish).
there are maybe 2 stand out tracks on animos…With Shove being the best So, i’ll stand behind yer statement here.
As for the new Revco I remember reading somewhere that Al want Sin, Josh, and Clay to stand on their own with Sex-O and that there was the possibility of bringing in other “Cocks” on subsequent releases. If I can find the link I’ll post.
I suppose that’s be cool but the main collaborators are not connely, jourgenson, barker, van acker- so not revco
I thought Sex-O had more of “Revco” feel than Cocked and Loaded did. C&L was a lot of fun in a different way with Gibby and Jello being involved.
certainly but still a non revco entity.
Late,

afra has no obligation to make his own comment about anything.
let’s crunch the numbers about how afra’s saved my ass.
we are friends.
leave it at that…
you, king smurf, rate. as does icepick.
as do most.
wtf
i’m not here to give a rating. i am however, someone who pays attention.
carmangary, i have actually, personally, seen at a rockshow, and i have no idea where that guy is.
but he’s cool. and the visual action is always on par.
what disturbs me more than anything is that visual images are used, and the creators don’t get paid,
why?
kingsmurf.
i ain’t no better than you.
remember that. if you can.
no better than you.
in retrospect, i would have poured all of my energy into a post that read,“Ministry old skirts on sale!”
i believe i am familiar with at least one person who would oblige.
but then again, what do i know.and what do you care.
i read on one of ministry’s myspace bulletin posts that these shirts were some found lot of old merch… or something… i rally don’t feel like diggin dealing with finding the link
as far as ed and egoist. it’s always suspect when somebody is a “lurker” and just randomly shows up to post links to sell something.
:edit: btw just checked egoists past posts… they all seem to have to do with advertising something 13th planet based… random posts announcing the sin guitar shows, or al signings etc.
btw the comment on there being only about 12 good songs since DSOTS may in itself spawn a 13th planet greatest (s)hits (or some silly named) album… quick money is always helpful, as this shirt sale semms to be showing
BTW anybody know the sales figures for the live dvd?
I’d imagine about as low as the other recent releases. I almost bought the dvd again a few days ago, but I didn’t… No excuses this time around either, I just got to the counter at best buy, and put it down, heh.
And I think Animositisomnia is an awesome album. I like it much better than HOTM, and that’s probably the only one out of that bush trilogy that I take the most seriously.
Haven’t seen these shirts. But legit or not, if they look cool, maybe i’d consider. After that C U Latour bullshit, i’m still skeptical in paying anything towards the Jourgensen. Fucked up week of my life, taking off work (which in my profession, isn’t a good idea, no paid vacations), and to not go to the concert I paid for, because Al lied, but at least I got a refund, played video games and ate pizza all week, heh. Much better than BushFest.
I like how that egoiste folk claims to have loved LORAH and been ‘hooked for life’… yet went on to claim The Laster Sucker had flashes of brilliance.
I took a shit the other day. The light from my bathroom window caught the shit and a glint of light reflected off a drop of water on the turd back into my view. That’s a FLASH of brilliance.
What I mean to say is… there’s no polishing a turd.
And then.
After lurking for ‘so many years’… egoiste pusses out. Just like that.
I smelt Angie from the very beginning. I mean. Who the fuck would lurk here for years just to ‘christen’ the board with a link to merchandise?
We’re dealing with very special people here.
It’s depressing when you stack Jourgense today with Jourgensen of old.
Someone take him to the golden triangle for fuck’s sake, junkie Al is better than this.
I’ll take HOTM any day of the week over Animosatoastedsomosa, which is the nadir of the Ministry catalog. I think “World” and “Worm” stand up with the best Ministry tracks. Don’t listen to much else off HOTM but those two log some quality time on my iPod.
No, junkie Al didn’t get hardly any work done in the '90s part of the reason the Luxa/Pan output wasn’t nearly as prolific as the Wax Trax days. Granted both Filth Pig and DSOTS were eventually worth the wait. Fans used to say the same thing about Ogre which is just sad.
I’d rather the musicians I enjoy be alive than end up strung-out casualties. Even if it means them sacrificing some of their counter-culture street cred.
I disagree on his alleged ‘hedonism’ in the 90s compared to his wax trax days,
he was just as bad then, there’s even some old interviews from that era where he’s boasting about being clean for ‘a couple of months’ and that he ‘doesn’t want to be a junkie forever’.
but i agree with you on the point ‘i’d rather see my favourite artists alive than dead’, so i’ll take that.
I did, heh. Not that long though, but I did for maybe a good month or two. Joined PA first, didn’t like it, and heard about this ol’ place from yonder, and been coming and posting since.
And I was actually dropping a few the other day and I could’ve sworn a neighbor was playing Last Sucker, but then I flushed…
miguel. i have known paul barker and i am no paul barker.
however, i AM delighted to read about turds being in a perfect lighting situation.
("Quick!..aw crap…Makeup!)
Once I dreamed I was Paul Barker and all the ladies loved my bass. [cool]
Ed, I’m assuming you will reveal your identity when your book come out. Do you think we’ll be surprised or most of us just will say: “Who the hell’s that guy?” I mean, I only know the musicians from the ministry camp (and not all of them) I don’t have idea who are the people behind them.
