hi angie.
Seriously bro, let it go. Were you dropped on your head? If you PM me I’ll give you my number and prove to you I’m a dude.

you apparently don’t appreciate the fact that you don’t count.i’m old enough to give counsel.
once you get the fact that you don’t count, you are in a position to address me or anyone else in a serious fashion on this forum.

I’m trying to be cordial here. You don’t know anything about me. My name, age, what I do for a living, et cetera. For you to dismiss someone you know nothing about just proves that you’re insecure, ignorant or both. I’m not trying to hide behind the computer and act like a jerk. If you care to discuss anything in a intelligent and informed fashion I’m all for it. However, if you’d rather act like an internet tough guy its just a poor reflection on yourself. So why don’t you just let it go and let’s start all over?
ok.
“hello angie.”
(is that cordial enough?)
neither i, nor anyone else here, needs to educate you.
why are you here? ask yourself that.

HAHA. Ok, I’ll play. I’ve lurked here for several years. I just didn’t start posting until a few months ago. I’ve been a Ministry fan since The Land of Rape and Honey. I was in 6th grade at the time and my best friend’s older brother played the tape for us. I heard Stigmata and was hooked for life.
I know its easy to dismiss that because its so much “cooler” to be underground. However, the fact remains that Ministry stayed relevant until the end.
It has nothing to do with “Cool.” kurt loder doesn’t tell me what trends to follow!
I think Ministry lost relevance the moment the “hired bassist” was shown the door. and it only went down hill from there! out of the last 3-4 albums maybe a dozen or so songs have staying power! perhaps if Al would’ve taken the best 12 or so songs from those albums and put them on one album I may be inclined to agree with you. as others on the forum have pointed out already, the albums are already obsolete! W’s out of office what relevance do they hold? they are all about one guy! they have no staying power(although I despise W so at the time they were ok to listen to, but who wants to go back and revisit that time period?), unlike the dead kennedys. kennedys stuff is 30 years old and still just as relevent today, if not more so, as they were in 1980!
It is still my hope that maybe Ministry could continue on in some form or fashion even if Al didn’t tour with the band.
Blech! a dead horse won’t run no matter how hard you kick it!
Kinda like the New revco? I like the new REVCO but wouldn’t necessarily call it revco! The sounds are nothing alike! from sexo olympico to even BS+Q New revco sounds like KMFDM without the german influence…NOt bad but not REVCO either.
WHy does AL keep having to sell a name? Josh, clayton, and Sin are solid artists let them do their own shit and make thier own name.
Ministry’s last album as far as I’m concerned was Animosit…and even that album was sub par compared to DSOTS… (but then again how do you follow up the gold that is dsots?) Paul’s bass lines are SORELY missed on the post barker ministry.
That’s what pisses people here off! why keep tarnishing the ministry image? let it go! we don’t need keep watching a grown man completely fall apart for a sad buck! glory days are gone, MOVE ON AL!

Welcome to Prongs! Say anything marginally nice about Ministry post-Paul and you’re an “angie”. Question Special Ed.'s background and you’re a “double angie”. Those are our rules.
I don’t know if anyone has ever made it to “triple angie”, that would be like winning Donkey Kong.

Thanks for the welcome! As for the “triple angie” I suppose we can all have dreams. I don’t understand why being Al’s wife would be considered a slight. I met her on the C U La Tour at a meet and greet and she was awesome to my wife and I.

LOL!! too damn funny!
back to post barker ministry- the wife points out “If you were to make a mix of Ministry’s best songs for a friend would any post barker ministry be on there?” probably not. END discussion!

Smurf: Not a bad response. I completely see where you’re coming from with the lyrics dating themselves. Although you already know where I stand on the content as a whole. I still contend that the Bush Trilogy is a better set than Animositosimia (that record is complete rubbish).
As for the new Revco I remember reading somewhere that Al want Sin, Josh, and Clay to stand on their own with Sex-O and that there was the possibility of bringing in other “Cocks” on subsequent releases. If I can find the link I’ll post. I thought Sex-O had more of “Revco” feel than Cocked and Loaded did. C&L was a lot of fun in a different way with Gibby and Jello being involved.
why not call afra, who runs this whole show?
once you steer a conversation into an irrelevelant direction, that’s where it goes.
i quote,"HAHA. Ok, I’ll play. I’ve lurked here for several years. I just didn’t start posting until a few months ago. I’ve been a Ministry fan since The Land of Rape and Honey. again, egoisite, why haven’t you posed your inquiries to afra?
is it because…you can’t?
(btw, that was a rhetorical question. do you know what rhetorical means? hm? have a dictionary handy…somewhere within the confines of 13th planet?)
Nevermind the legitimacy of 13th planet selling the shirts, the main problem I see is that the LORAH t shirt (at least) is available only in small & medium sizes.
Are 13th planet not aware that many Ministry fans (like you might find at P.A.) eat lard cakes for breakfast?
I got an XL this morning and also one with Al pointing his finger. 2 shirts for $20 bucks. [:)]
again. where is your post to afra?
again. where is your post to afra?
What exactly am I supposed to be posting to afra? I don’t know what the heck you’re talking about. Please enlighten me.
you don’t get it.
were you legit, you WOULD get it.

Look, I’ve tried to be civil with you but you sir are a grade “A” number 1 cocksucker. I know Afra has some sort of feud with the Ministry camp that dates back to his time doing the website.
There’s some cool folks here and I like reading the posts. I’ve lurked off and on here for a long time. I remember when darkspoon.com was the Ministry site.
Its been real. After coming to this site for years I’m done. If anyone wants to chat about Ministry or any other music with me feel free to email me at egoisteboy@aol.com.
uh…yeah.
wait for the responses.
i believe your education with 13th nonethingless is complete.
again., ms. thang. where is afra
