i liked sexo olympico more than cocked and loaded. but its definitely not revco.

i actually enjoy rio grande blood lol. definitely my favorite post-paul work.
Yeah i’ve been meaning to get “cocked and loaded” cause i realized that none of the new revco guy;'s are on it.It’s basically ministry 04 with no lead singer trying a diff sound so…
Sin was on “Cocked and Loaded”. I don’t remember if any of the other RamCo gang was. I know JOSH was on vocals for the tour, but I don’t think he was on the album at all.
He wasn’t. It’s got the far more irritating Stevie Banch on most lead vox.

He wasn’t. Sin and the others came on for the tour and after. And for side projects. The “solo” stuff was “Post-Ministry”, so should we or can we really call that side material. Or even Buck Satan? This was all done during the hiatus, when ministry was “dead”. Granted, Ministry was down for a couple years, but you know what I mean. Fine line I guess.
And “revco” will never be the juggernaut of what Revolting Cocks were. Slap the name on it all you want. Doesn’t make it true. If only that stuff had a different name. But because they called it “revco”, there’s a huge stigma against it.
And i’m still pretty lukewarm towards the majority of what Rio Grande Blood. No matter how terrible Relapse was.

Idk man. Rio has some pretty unforgivable cringe worthy tracks. Relapse is more like a full blown seizure.
The only good song on RGB is Gangreen.

Please tell me that’s sarcasm. That smells like sarcasm. That was sarcasm right?

gangreen? worst. ministry. song. ever.
i probably like about half the album if i busted it out. first 2 songs are good but the second half is crap filler.
rio grande blood, senor peligro, fear and palestina kick ass. fo realz.
It’s tommy’s guitar playing that makes rio suck for some reason. I’m not even sure why really just something about it. If Mikey played lead on all of it would’ve been boss
Damn after i posted last post i watched adios…and fuck it’s awesome. I wish i had’nt been so pissed about setlist and went to show cause as it’s own thing, like when they played ‘old songs’ did’nt fit, it kick’s ass so maybe i’ve been saying and seeing rio/sucker sucks for so long without actually listening to them live at least they kick ass!

No sarcasm at all. You must take the song too serious. It’s meant to be funny.

You mean Die In A Crash.

i think “99%” takes the crown for shittiest ministry song ever. hell, i’d say one of the shittiest songs i’ve heard all hear, and that’s saying something.

“Get Up Get Out And Vote” is the worst Ministry song, imo.
And “Senor Peligro” is pretty badass. I remember it getting a dying crowd pumped up again on the Culatour.

The drill sargent is hilarious. The opening riff is hella goofy. Should it have been a side project since the topic of side projects got mentioned?
I kind of liked “gang green” except for the hideously unfunny drill sgt. which kills the track for me.
ETA: “Die in a Car Crash” was actually the last Ministry song I really loved. It sounded like something new from them. Industrial classic punk.
