So it seems anyway. Good to see Al still off the drink. Oh wait, no, he’s drinking a beer. Video has Mike Scaccia.

I hope the dub jam makes it onto the record.
Also, Al’s comparison fails. He should have either said “Keith Richards over Ace Frehley any day” or “Mick Jagger over Paul Stanley any day”.
I’m excited-ish. Relapse was surprisingly good. I would much rather have a compilation of unreleased 80s material though.

Wow. Seriously? I thought I was the only one that liked this album.
I did like Relapse but some of it was pretty wretched. Some of it was great though. I think Al’s lyrics were pretty lazy though.
And heeeereee we go again!!!
I love Houses, Rio is listenable, Last Sucker is forgettable but not atrocious, but Relapse was laughable dog shit.
This board is about to light up…once again!!
Let the pissing, moaning and bitching BEGIN!!
Bring it on.
from the beer to eternity huh
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
favourite band rolling stones huh
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
new album mhmmmmmmmm
and i guess he’s quitting again after this one is out right?
ooooor he’s finally off something (again)?
or what is it this time
Confederate flag in the studio… classy. “poodles or beagles or whatever”? “spacebook”?
just terrible
Al looks surprisingly good! he looks healthy, he almost looks, dare I say, youngish. aside from all that shit in his face I mean. I liked mikey’s beginning noodles too! freaking awesome!

Maybe Scaccia’s death taught him a lesson. Friends around you are dying, maybe you should make a change. The dub stuff is kind of weird and surprising to see from them. I wonder if this is actually from the new album.

Actually, Scaccia is still alive in this video, you can tell by his playing of the guitar and talking and breathing and other various activities associated with the living.
So that Al healthiness comes before the scaccia tragedy.

I’ve only heard it on my crappy Blackberry, but I like the reverby weirdness. Sounds like some psychedelic surf music.
Hmm, it’s private now. What was the video?
Why the fuck is Al hell bent on being a hillbilly?
It’s really foul watching that vid and knowing Mikey wasn’t dead long after it. It’s stupid, but I get the creeps when I see footage or listen to posthumous releases of people who’ve recently carked it.
Hmm, it’s private now. What was the video?
It starts with Mike Scaccia in the studio jamming on a sort of reggae/dub track.
Then we see Al, and he’s telling his dogs they’re going to get groupies because this video is going on the internet.
We hear a tiny snippet of another song, and Al declares that he and Mike love the Rolling Stones whereas Sin loves KISS and that the Stones are better.
The end.

Isn’t this the fate of about half the things Ministry posts on Youtube?

The lyrics are beyond lazy.
I love the album not for the lyrics but in spite of them. They can only be appreciated on a comedic level. The lyrical content of that album is seriously awful.
Totally. There were a few little glances at past lyrical wizardry here and there, not that i can recall any at the moment of course, but it was just like he couldn’t be arsed putting any work into the lyrics at all. I was cringing at most of them. I really hope he can pull it back with the new one. Hire a real drummer for starters, or even get a new drum machine programme. I have one here that sounds a million times better than Ministry’s, and i don’t have the cash Al has, or had. He really should try his best on this to do something new and fresh. It seems like a few people on here really hated Die in a Crash, but for me that was something new and exciting for Ministry, especially coming as it did on their final album. Oh, wait…
