Yeah, that’s not the full set. That’s the abbreviated festival set.
The full set list is much longer.
Yeah, I figured as much. It’s one of the reasons I hate festivals. Get to sit through 10 hours of garbage to hopefully see my favorite band play a 25 minute set at 2 pm behind the nacho cart. No thanks.
This is why I hate posting set list…we will be barraged by all you wankers pissing and moaning about how your favorite little song isn’t on it …fucking boo fucking hoo !
Get over it ! I am not your personal fucking juke box ! Either come to the show or not
If you do we will kick ass that is the only guarantee I have for you…
It’s almost as pathetic as some old wanker whining about buying his t shirts lol
See y’all in Sydney
Uncle Al
Ha. Honestly, the only reason it bothers me is DOES seem like a total pandering jukebox move for Ministry to have so few songs in their live repertoire at this point. Does Al really think that only about four pre-2004 Ministry songs are good? Good enough to not get sick of playing them at practically every show in the past 11 years? Or that only about half of each post-2004 album is worthy of being played live? I’d totally agree if he posted this in the 2000s when people were complaining that he didn’t play enough old favourites, but now people are mostly complaining that the setlist is too unchanging over the past few tours, and that’s a different issue.
Also, if you don’t want to play Filth Pig songs, tell your guitarist to not mention in interviews that you’ll be playing Filth Pig songs.
The new setlist isn’t bad, though. I do like most of those songs. The absence of anything Relapse-related is even more conspicuous. Maybe Angie took some of the rights to that one?
HAHA!!! Well, I will go and I will still complain, so there.
I wouldn’t be complaining so much if he would stop issuing lame ass promises about stuff he never plans to do.
I never believe anything Al says, so i’m never disappointed. If he says something will never happen, like a Ministry tour, then it will happen. If he says something will happen, like a more varied setlist, you can be pretty sure it won’t. I’m not too bothered, i like the songs on the list anyway, so i’ll definitely be checking them out again. For me, seeing Ministry is always enjoyable, and every time could be the last time, so i’m always happy to see them.
Yet you’d think if they did a tour with a really crazy and unique setlist, the inevitable live LP/DVD would sell better. Eh, I’ll probably still buy it.

I feel the same, but I still bitch because I know that, even though I always enjoy the shows and music, they could really put these shows on another level and make them something incredibly special and memorable if they cared to.
Ive been a fan of Ministry since the mid 80s. I’m not to worried if some of my fave songs do not get played, yet going to a live show a little unpredictability would be fun. I won’t moan too much though, if it was up to me I’d have the band play up to 3 hrs!

Now that is true, absolutely. There’s certain songs on that list that i’ve heard live several times, but i do like the tracks so i’m not bothered if i hear them again. Thinking back to the first couple of times i saw them, and having read a lot of the comments on FB, i realise that i’ve been pretty lucky in seeing them play a lot of older stuff that some fans may never have heard live. It seems like a lot of folk, especially out Australye-way, haven’t been able to see them live at all, so this is their first time seeing them. Comments seem mixed, a lot of people saying “why didn’t you play this song” but mostly people seem happy, or even shocked at the power of the shows.
Yeah, that’s not the set list I was told about. The main set, yes. But the “old” song set was different. Oh well, at least we won’t have to hear Relapse songs.
And can they get they’re own songs right? It’s “Enjoy The Quiet” not “Enjoy The Silence”. Yeesh.
I initially thought the same, actually, but I guess it’s a different track or a remiXXXXXXXX or something. I haven’t listened to it yet, but it’s up on YouTube somewhere.
Thanks, yeah, I eventually figured out the same. They just keep calling it the wrong name (on their YouTube channel too). I’ll have to relisten to the track from the album. I always skip it. And maybe I’ll skip it at the show too.
