Why don’t you just skip the show?
they should just play HOTM start to finish. now that i’d go to.
I’m not gonna skip the show.
I still love Ministry despite my bellyaching.
Even though they don’t rise to the potential I know they can, they are still a great live act and always deliver. I just know how much BETTER it can be. Besides, these gigs are like a Class Reunion for me. I’ve been rocking out with many of the same fans for 5-10-20+ years and it’s great to meet up with everyone as well as make new friends.
Even if the show sucks I’m gonna have a blast.
The only bad I show I ever saw was in '99. Otherwise, I’ve had a blast every time.
I, too, would love to see a more varied set list, but whatever.

Yep.
Weakest show I saw was 2006, but even then it was fun.
tickets for houston are $69.69. they should call THIS “The Last Sucker Tour”.

That’s pretty good…
Actually he could get a couple more years off of it continuing with Surgical Meh Machine:
2016: The “Last” Sucker Tour
2017: The Last “Sucker” Tour

Yeah, and in 2020 when he’s playing to crowds of 20 people at the Grand Rapids Golf ‘n’ Stuff parking lot or rocking the Wichita Senior Center . . . .
2020 The Last Sucker “Tour”
$63 for the Tempe show…I was already not planning to go, but what’s with the ticket inflation? Is the band actually setting these prices? Same venue for C U LaTour, I paid just under $30.
1002
The band sets the prices.
prices are way too high. the double bill of Slash and Aerosmith last year was less!
The band sets the prices.
I don’t know the specifics, so this is based also on assumption, but I suspect there is a portion of the ticket price that goes back to the venue, the promoter, etc., but obviously the band itself (or management team thereof) has a lot of say in how much to charge on top of that and how much pocket coin they want to make for each ticket.
Also, just look at OTHER ticket prices for similar acts playing at the same venues that Ministry does. They’ll typically be in the $40 (or less) range, not $100.
Heck, considering that my front ticket for a full-blown stage production of the King Diamond show was $50 . . .
$54 for the Grove in Anaheim
Maybe, just maybe, the release of Trax! Box and the Brian Shanley exhibit in April will impact the set list.
“After the main set, Ministry front man Al Jourgensen returned to the stage clean-shaven with his band and powered through five of their earliest classics including Everyday is Halloween, We Believe, I’m Falling, Work For Love, and I’ll Do Anything For You.” (LA Daily News, May 12, 2015)
$43.50 in Milwaukee. A bit pricey, but hey, this is the third farewell tour.
$84 something in NYC. I’ll pass.

What he needs to do is contact Wemp and Stevo to do a few shows of early stuff. [cool]
Another cool idea is to do half a set of metal versions of older stuff (like the Halloween remake) and then do another half of newer songs redone in the synth/dance fashion.
the poster for the houston show is not misleading at all.
^
HAHAHAHHAAHA!!!
Yeah, not at all misleading.
