Governor has some bold points and I’m having trouble disagreeing with any of them. What happened immediately after his well publicized rehab? It makes complete sense why Angie is an easy target for scorn around these parts if she’s effectively cut out the middle man (any intervening parties) through her management of Ministry and maybe being a catalyst in coaxing Al back into the recording/release/touring cycle.
The behind-the-scenes exposure we get isn’t even close to a full picture. No, I’m not going to preemptively mourn Al’s demise just yet, though he’s had so many close calls and physical trials that I’ll be damned if we ever see him in better condition than presently. Very sad.

I think the nicest thing you can say about Angie is that (as far as I know) she never took an assumed name on a message board and spent time bashing Paul’s wife.
He seems to be regressing (or has regressed) back to a juvenile stage and it’ll probably get worse. I guess this is what happens to old timers when they’re near their end. The sad thing for him, as a human being, is that he has no one to pull him out of that crap he has around him so he’s doomed. But then again I don’t think he deserves to be “rescued”. You get your shot (or in Al’s case, many shots) and if you fuck up and piss a load of people off and wreck a band that was once a powerhouse, you get what you get.
