there is NOTHING animositisomina-ish in this track

boring

You are wrong. Period.

yeah the lyrics are sorta like ‘omg man, these are bad’

the guitar riff is sorta KJ inspired, prolly Tommy Viktor. He’s a big KJ fan.

it was only out for 1hr. :stuck_out_tongue: lol. don’t worry, you didn’t miss much.

I’m tempted to download it from iTunes.

Opening lyrics remind me of Animosity “Punk Skinhead with an attituddeee…”

Got a giftcard for iTunes so I decided to pick it up. Definitely has the KJ vibe in the intro and so forth. It’s honestly not that bad. I’m hoping the album has more than just one or two good cuts though.

It’s growing on me some. The lyrics and vocals are horrible. But, musically, it’s alright.

I was pleasantly surprised by the return of post punk elements to the Ministry sound but yeah the vocals/lyrics are pretty bad.

so… anyone wanna put it on youtube?

found it.

im gonna be honest. i like it. a lot. they lyrics are… lacking, but Al has written some of my all time fave lyrics (The Fall, World, Worthless) so… i hope the rest of the album is more… personal.

It’s ok but I’m glad I didn’t waste 99 cents.

The music is kind of cool.

But yeah . . . those lyrics and vocals . . . holy crap.

surprised to see so much love for this track because aside from the tempo being a little slower it sounds like the bush trilogy stuff…

“Let’s put em all in hand cuffs and throw away the key”
that has got to be the worst Al lyric ever written

the counting lyrics 12345 etc 99% doesn’t actually translate that bad when sung.

Thanks for the link Hacksaw.

yeah, the song is lacking in a lot of aspects, BUT its creative.

in all actuality, if it hadn’t been for the bush trilogy, this song (lyrics aside…) would be a worthy follow up to the Animos era. so, excitedly, i am going to look forward to this album and just hope and pray that there are one or two songs where the old depressed al shines through and writes a song that is as gut wrenching and somber as some of his old classics.

couldn’t finish it. it needs live drums and a different vocal sound for me to give a shit. and i actually liked most of the bush triology. oh al. alcohol sadly isn’t the aid you used for great music.
