Taking the new one into account, of course.
Personally…
- The Land of Rape and Honey
- The Mind is a Terrible Thing To Taste
- Animositisomina
- Filth Pig
- With Sympathy
- Twitch
- Psalm 69
- Dark Side of the Spoon
- Rio Grande Blood
- Houses of the Mole
Taking the new one into account, of course.
Personally…
very hard to do. i like 'em all equally (including greatest fits and twelve inch singles cds) except houses of the mole, rio grande blood and rantology. these three are in the lower tier.
Hmmm…kinda hard to do. Haven’t given the new album enough time. I like it. Seems like a breath of fresh air, apart from the Bush samples and childish political rants, which come across as naive and ill informed. However, I’ll give it a shot:
The last three I virtually cannot sit through with constantly skipping tracks.
Actually, the worst Ministry related album I can think of is Beers, Steers And Queers, which I find virtually unlistenable.
1.Mind
2.LORAH
3.Filth Pig
4.Psalm
5.Rio
6.Darkside
7.Houses
8.Animositisomina
9.Twitch
10.With Sympathy
Only the first 3 I like pretty much in their entirety. The rest is still great tho. I can say I like something about each and every one of their albums, even the ones I ranked last…
LORAH
Twitch
Spoon
Mind
Filth
Psalm
Animosity
Sympathy
Houses
Rio
Excluding Sphinctour (which I don’t own), Rantology, and Greatest Fits:
Mind…
Psalm 69
Land…
Filth Pig
Twitch
In Case…
Rio Grande Blood
Houses…
With Sympathy
Early Trax
Animositisomina
Dark Side…
Though it’s important to note that “With Sympathy” kind of belongs in a different category than the rest of Ministry’s catalogue. In a list of favorite '80s synth-pop albums, it rates higher.
The Land Of Rape and Honey
Twitch
The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste
Houses Of The Mole
With Sympathy
Psalm 69
Rio Grande Blood
Animositisomina
Filth Pig
Dark Side Of The Spoon
1002
I still don’t have the newest album, but whatever…
Same here on not having the latest one ( which kinda defeats the purpose of this thread)…but anyways…
90% of the time, when i play a song from the first three on that list, I’ll keep on listening till the album’s over, not too fussed about the order of 5-8. And WS is trash. Could have been so much more ;_;
This is only for informational purposes:
The rest have not ever been my cup of tea, so they aren’t included in this list. Your mileage may (and will) vary.

Twitch better than Rape And Honey ???
Rio… better than Rape And Honey ???
HOUSES OF THE MOLE!!! better than…oh dear.
You are a strange person and perhaps you like meditation and Eastern philosophies…feng shui and tantric sex?? Boy how are you with Gandhi? Down? I can picture you as a small impish fellow with wide staring eyes and a mane of curlish brown hair. Girls like you but don’t know how to approach you as you are shy and mysterious. Perhaps you secretly grin to yourself, exposing dimples and a cream coloured complexion. This is ok. Daring perhaps, but not altogether unhurried. Do you wear knitted sweaters and refuse to eat pork for “moral purposes”. Are you an activist? Do you tear up easily when you think of animal cruelty. Maybe, maybe not. Who can tell tell?
But I do believe that at some stage of yr young life you had read Moby Dick at least once. You admire Hemmingway and hope one day to be mentioned in the same breath as the great man. It is good to have those sorts of dreams, young fellow.

For me, I think twitch when it was released was really different from everything else back then. I love all of their work but with sympathy. And I do remember hating filth pig when it came out, but imo the most natural sounding ministry record ever made.
Forgot, don’t even own rio grande blood yet.[:(][mad][mad]
I’m appalled at the lack of “Animositisomina” love in this thread.
