I think Bruce has been very oddly evasive, though, and although Grumpy’s statements seem a bit crude on surface level, I think there is some merit to it and it can apply to SOME cases.
I think Bruce has been oddly selective on what he’s (or she’s, sorry, please don’t ask me to give a crap regarding what I’m supposed to call him/her/it/other any given day) shared.
I’ve seen several interviews with him and when the topic of “are you going to date men or women” comes up, he acts like he doesn’t even know. Uhhhh, so you’ve known for 65 years that you’re a woman but you don’t know if you like dudes or not.
I think Grumpy (please correct me if I infer to much) is perceptive that Bruce/Caitlyn, for all the props he’s been given for his courage in this matter, is still wrestling with a bit of homophobia. He’s not quite ready to say what he wants sexually, though he was quite vocal in making sure everyone was aware of his Alpha-male status in previous times.
I think he is still ashamed that maybe he was “gay” all along. And don’t say he’s not gay because he’s a woman now. Either he liked dudes when he was a dude . . . or he’s going to continue liking women . . . . as a woman. So, I think it is very ironic that the one thing that he seems to be grappling with has got him caught in a Catch-22.
I wish s/he’d quit playing all these guessing games with the media and public. It’s tiresome and just reeks of promotional hype and self-doubt.

He got gayer later . . . . sporting turtleneck sweaters and such. I don’t really think he is, but it became a running joke in the PA long ago where we’d use the term Paul Barker interchangeably for gay. “Dude, don’t be so Paul Barker!” “That pink shirt is so Paul Barker!” “Why are you so Paul Barker for Godflesh?” and so on . . .
We even had a group in the aftermath of the PA’s final implosion that we renegaded ourselves called PB4PB (Paul Barker for Paul Barker).

The thing that annoys me is that when states choose to legalize weed the US looks away but when they states decide how they want to deal with gay marriage the US puts the foot in the door. So, you’re saying jenner is a gay woman? what reason was their for him to switch genders if that was the case, especially since male/female trapped in the other body and such is probably what gay is? It would seem gender got it right and Jenner reversed it.
