I’m going on the idea that gender/sexual identity is created by who you are attracted to.
If Jenner is attracted to girls, what is it about his personality (I guess) suggests to him he’s a woman?
If he’s into dudes it would be obvious to me that nature screwed up his physical gender assignment and him wanting to be physically made to resemble a woman would sorta make sense.
If he’s into women what part of him decided his gender as a man was wrong, and that he really is a gay woman? Especially going on the idea that a gay woman had nature screw up her physical gender in the building process to resemble a woman instead of a man.
Kris Kardashian would eat her own children if it was economically profitable. I think Bruce is making his own decisions in this matter, but I honestly would not have been surprised if it came out that that family made an agreement for Bruce to do this just because the ratings for their show was in the toilet and most people stopped giving a crap about them.

My theory is that he realized that as a man who won some Olympic gold medals the best he could do was be on some Wheaties boxes for awhile. my position on homosexuals is… i do not give a shit. i really don’t. the gender confusion/role play thing is strange to me. and for some reason, i’m not sure why, but i have a history of lesbians not liking me. It’s an inside joke with me and my buddies.

The thing that annoys me is that when states choose to legalize weed the US looks away but when they states decide how they want to deal with gay marriage the US puts the foot in the door. The issues don’t really concern me but the way the US picks and chooses what it wants to do puts me off. I can’t imagine we’ll go more than 100 years before the shit hits the fan.
This will derail the current heated transgender discussion, but…what the hey.
The SCOTUS ruling made me scratch my head when I heard it because I had no idea a ruling was even being debated at the time.
The timing just seems strange - like, why now? Why was this not being attempted in the late 90s or something?
I think the way this decision was handled is extremely poor, and will ultimately be damaging to the campaign for overall acceptance of gays in U.S. society. I think that simple democratic process, rather than a supreme court ruling, would have eventually led to something like this anyway. Society seemed like it was already trending in this direction; so as usual this seems like a deliberate attempt by central authority to simply get us all yelling and screaming at each other over petty “culture war” positions while their other nefarious activities go totally unnoticed.
As it now stands now, the suddenness of the decision is going to freak out a lot of the kind of people who already think their ‘traditional’ culture is being destroyed, and I predict (and the word there is predict, not hope) there will be more than a little bit of boneheaded retaliatory violence.
