Got the majority of the Portion Control 80s output on one “boxed set” from iTunes for $25. Great deal! I’d only had one of their albums before but it’s great to hear the whole deal. Lots of great stuff!

Been listening to the Spinnerette album lately (Brody Dalle from The Distillers). Reminds me a LOT like qotsa, perhaps too much. But it’s a good album. I’ve also been listening to Meshuggah (“I” ep) and Godflesh with a little sprinkle of Jesu.

The new Alice in Chains song ‘A Looking in View’

It’s heavy but sounds too much like J Cantrell’s solo stuff which wasn’t great. The rest of the new album hopefully will be better than this, but if not I don’t really care

Recently took a look at the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die and was surprised to see some actual good artists listed. There’s some good industrial/Industrial related stuff being represented in this mug. I saw the following bands listed.

Killing Joke

Been listening to some of that stuff!
