Burial Hex - In Hiding
Little Feat
I went on a Little Feat tear about a month ago…they have some killer shit
he turned me on to so much stuff with the compilations he made in the 90’s for virgin
Jazz Satellites and Macro Dub Infection. they absolutely changed my life
I was probably always going to discover Miles Davis because people like Lydon mentioned him but
the stuff that i’ve discovered now because of KM is mindblowing.
I’ve been on a quest to recreate his lost compilation album
Adventures In Sound: Jazz Satellites II (archive.org)
i grab a few things when i can then forget about it for a few years then go back to it
top bloke
current listening i bought Just Say Da (just say yes 4) to get Breathe from the In case… concert
10 tracks of PIG/KMFDM - SIN SEX & SALVATION (DELUXE) 2024.
Jsphynx - Reflex mp3, vinyl on tha way.
Third single from Puppy/FLA collab is like a dream to me. So fucking good! This song is like Rabies had a baby with Tactical Neural Implant
Didn’t know about that, just picked it up - thanks for the heads up!
Those Macro Dub Infection comps are so great, dude…all kinds of dub all over the map but yet still works as consistent works…love those comps…
Listening to a Noel Gallagher bootleg “All We Need Is Love And A Place We Call Home”
Klaus Schulze - Moondawn
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
The Chameleons - Strange Times
Bill Rieflin - Birth Of A Giant
Wolfsheim - Spectators
Nice pick! My local club used to play the hell out of this album back when it came out. I also love their Dreaming Apes album.
Life of Agony-River Runs Red
D.R.I- Crossover
Last Exit- Iron Path
“he” being Kevin Martin.
Yeah… dudes got taste.
And still churns out some wicked dope beats.
I don’t recall what led me to them. But I found it priceless that Lowell George, was booted from Zappa, for writing “Willin.”
Speculation. But sounds like a Zappa move. Shit jams!!!
And Lord Sutch…Poco and Al Kooper. Those are my latest “Now Playing”.
He wasn’t booted for writing Willin…after Zappa heard Willin he encouraged George to go start his own band…it wasn’t uncommon for Frank to suggest the same to a number of his hired musicians…
The Melvins - Stoner Witch
I’ve been after that Rieflin album for ages! Bill & Christ and Fripp & Trey on the same album , i gotta have it, it the missing link between Ministry and King Crimson!
its going for stupid money so I emailed DGM and they confirmed a reissue is on their “to do” list
luckily his other solo album was included in the King Crimson Heaven and earth megabox so i have that.
on my cd changer this week:
Trax Box discs 1 & 2
Twitch
“In Case…”/Just Say Da gave me a double drummer boner and i went through my collection looking for examples to binge

Frank was notorious for firing if you were even suspected of any drug use or if you missed any of the non stop rehearsals.
Read all of his books, you should too, can’t put it down type of books for sure.
