Pink Floyd - Extraction Tapes - 1975-1976

The shit. They toured hard (opening for NIN, KMFDM, White Zombie, etc.) in the early 90s and always put on a solid show. It was like every time I went to a good show at Roseland, Chemlab was somehow opening. And it was always a reason to show up on time.

I don’t know why they didn’t catch on more than they did.

Original or remaster?

Remaster.

I think what killed them were the vocals. They just don’t sound…right.

Chemlab are decent but they’re a hard sell to the general public.

Heartbreaking and hilarious all at once.

Thanks for reminding me that I still need to see the King Crimson doc …

Cabaret Voltaire were my favorite band for many years and used to listen them all the time. When RHK passed I listened to a lot but haven’t since then. Seems to be time to go on another binge.

The Cult-Electric

Electric peace is a must listen, its a double vinyl set with not only the electric lp as we know it but the 2nd vinyl is the original recorded version that was scrapped for a more metal sound.
Imagine the electric album sounding like the love era.

Yeah I’ve got it…it’s killer…

Klaus Schulze - Timewind & the The Dark Side of the Moog releases.

I love those Moog releases…discovered those from being a fan and collector of Bill Laswell back in the 90s…those were originally released on Pete Namlook’s Fax label… everything from that label was pure quality …

Also responsible for all the early moog ish commercials from 50’, 60’s.
Too much to list actually.
