Rammstein - Zeit
Phew! What a stinker of an album!

HAHAHA!!! I was just talking about Rammstein with QueerBait in another thread. They are an absolute juggernaut live. But the only song I can name is “Du Hast”. As a studio band I’ve always thought of them as Great Value Ministry that just does a watered down ripoff of Psalm 69 every damned time. But live they are really something that has to be experienced to understand.
I went to a punk rock tiki bar last night, and “Waiting Room” came on, and everyone in the bar started singing the “I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait” part at the same time. Nice.
Life of Agony-River Runs Red
Went to Amoeba yesterday and picked up “steady diet of nothing” I think it’s pretty good.
I liked that one a lot, but it was the last time Fugazi put out anything I loved. The follow up was “In On The Killtaker”, and I found it and everything after it to be boring at best, while much is completely unlistenable. But literally everything Fugazi did up through “Steady Diet” was pure magic.
Yeah im digging it.
I have Mutter on cd. It’s just ok. Nothing special. Thought I’d give the new one a spin. It was awful.
Now playing:
Front 242 - Pulse
I like their whole discography. The later stuff… give it another listen, especially “End Hits.” a lot going on there.
Warrior Soul-Salutations from the Ghetto Nation
Peaches - impeach my bush.
That sounds like it would be a porn title
Various Artists - The Lost Boys OST
Revolting Cocks - Cocked & Loaded
Found this for $10 in a bargain bin closing down sale. Was expecting the worst to be honest. I’d never heard it before and even before I had gone back to my car I was regretting my purchase. Funnily enough, it wasn’t particularly bad. Production could have / should have been much better (with the depth of talent that was involved here) and some really decent songs (Jack In The Crack, Devil Cock)are ruined by sub standard vocalists. All in all though, I really enjoyed listening to this thing up real loud while speeding down the highway in pouring rain. Probably give it a 6 / 10.
I love “Caliente (Dark Entries).” Boy howdy can that Gibby ramble.
I liked cocked and loaded. I though Josh is a right fine vocalist but if you were expecting something in the vein of Connelly I could see why you might be disappointed with Josh
I haven’t listened to it in years, but I remember digging “Cocked and Loaded”. Fire Engine and Caliente were my favorites. However, I would shell out for another version of it with Spiderbaby’s vocals removed.
I can barely remember that album…maybe I’ll throw it on later…
