Also checking out former ghost band members in a little something called new flesh from priest.
Update: wow, priest sounds like a perfect fit for wax trax black box. Retro Rules.
Surf Punks - My beach
Fucking classic! I’ve not heard these cats in ages.
I’d never heard of this Priest project before, so I’m checking it out now.
Reminds me more of Infected Mushroom than anything from WaxTrax, I must say.
Yeah, i spent currency i didnt even know of chasing down all the vinyls…still need new flesh, i will find it…
Priest On Shuffle: cyberhead, new flesh, obey.
Body machine vinyl on tha way but havent found a 320 yet.
I don’t hear much Wax Trax either, but it does sound pretty fun - not what I expected coming out of Ghost.
As for what I’ve been listening to, I’ve recently gone deep into an indie 90s binge. That first Halo Benders has gotten a lot of plays out of me over the past few weeks. Great stuff.
Kinda weird to pick the name Priest…people usually associate the name Priest with one band and this ain’t it…it’s some cool synth pop though…a project I liked by the ex Ghost guys that not many know about was called Magna Carta Cartel(Tobias was even in on their early stuff)…I picked up a few of their recordings and loved them all…and Tobias and a few of them also made a real cool album called Subvision- So Far,So Noir where you definitely hear the seeds of Ghost taking shape…
AKA MCC
Long Live The Priest!!
Reverend Horton Heat - It’s Martini Time
