No blizzard , diary…?
I’ll take Blizzard, Diary and even Bark over Ultimate Sin…
That claim sounds like an ultimate sin!
Blizzard, Diary, and Bark definitely are not without their charm, but I think Sin just has a real atmosphere that you can just walk around in. you can feel that whole record’s tone. It’s just got something extra in terms of its feel.
Oh I know Ultimate very well and I know what you mean about the feel and atmosphere of it…I just like the material on the other albums more…Ultimate feels over produced to me also and Phil Soussan can’t hold a candle to Bob Daisley…of course love both Randy and Jake…I saw them on Ultimate tour it was a blast…Oz came down in that giant thrown…Yngwie “Unleash the fookin fury” Malmsteen opened up haha…
DEFINITELY Ozzy’s best solo.
I have a boot dvd of ozzy with joe holmes on guitar, a definate must check out.
Philadelphia i believe.
Sepultura-Beneath the Remains
Love that one…
Maurice Ravel - Gaspard de la nuit
Ministry - death toll
Ministry - Moral Hygiene
This is the best track on the record.
I wish the whole thing sounded like this.
oh yea agree there. rest is trash
I am enjoying MH ever so slightly more than expected. Some moments stand out on the quieter tracks - all the heavier tracks are disposable. In any case I probably won’t listen to it past this week.
Someone really needs to break Al’s computer. Everything sounds so rigidly locked into an overdetermined digital rhythm, so uniformly compressed and processed to trebly mush that the net effect is of having listened to nothing at all.
It is strange how the Bush trilogy stuff sounds now in comparison - I even enjoy Rio Grande Blood because of the batshit overdone drum machine parts + the fact that the guitar does something other than chug along reliably.
I agree with this statement:
I am enjoying MH ever so slightly more than expected.
Lard tune is pretty standard as with the other tunes Jello & Al have released over the years. MH is not speed metal so that’s a good thing for me.
KK’s Priest. It’s okay so far.
I hadn’t spun any Sepultura for ages and pulled this one up after seeing your post. Holy shit. Fucking rad!
Yeah dude a thrash/death classic…my favorite of theirs…
Rossington collins anytime anywhere anyplace.
Moral Hygiene. I’m getting into the songs quicker than last offering.
I didn’t know until a moment ago Ellefson plays on two tracks.
