I’ve never been a huge Voivod fan but always loved this album.
Voivod are a strange band and while I don’t like their entire catalog I think they have made at least 4 masterpieces…they are one of those bands that you really need to take some time with…if there was ever a “it really grabbed me on repeated listens” type band, they are it…they started as a fairly pedestrian thrash band but kind of morphed into this odd thrash,sci fi prog metal entity…Angel Rat is quite different from the rest as it is some sort of thing I just can’t explain…probably tied for my favorite along with Nothingface…one thing about Voivod is they aren’t like anyone else…they definitely established their own sound over the years…a strange band indeed…long may they run…
Yeah, with my tastes more embracing of proggy shit lately it might be time for me to give Voivod another go.

Yeah to me jake was just behind eddie, major influence on the ozzy/jake videos, shows.
Jake played a kramer which was eddies original Frankenstein guitar.
Love bark too.
You turned me on to this album and it’s definitely my favorite of all the solo albums too. No rest is probably my #2 with ozzmosis rounding out my top 3
