Yeah, you definitely owe yourself another listen. “No Hope, No Fear” is pretty dope, too. That mix of “133” is pretty cool.
Apparently, the song “Discipline” off “Resistance” was sampled in KMFDM’s “More & Faster,” which I found hard to believe, but does sound suspiciously so.
Strange, I thought UAIOE came out before Resistance, if not at the same time (wouldn’t be a first). I still go back to No Hope, No Fear as my favorite, but Escorts is definitely a fine follow-up. I had the N.U.D. 12" vinyl back in the day, which I played the crap out of before the album came out.
If you search around online, you can find a Euro site with download links for two of Borghesia’s films from the mid-80’s (released only on VHS, of course). Lots of S&M footage, plus live clips, and most of their promo videos. Worth tracking down.

the guy’s a genius i never had the privilege of meeting.i’m not good with caring about celebs anyway, but scott walker and howard devoto could pull the plug if i’m critical, and the hands are flying and i wanna see a face.
Ministry - Kaif
I love the low whineing horn that closes out the song, i call it the “Doom Horn”, i feel like a demon is gonna pop out of the speaker and kick me in the face.

They say great minds think alike.
Damn I love me some Scott Walker too. ‘The Drift’ is just about dark and depressing enough to make those early Cure albums sound like ‘Christmas With The Brady Bunch’. It’s dark I tell you. And dark’s the way I like it! Dark!
Did I mention it was dark? Damn you Mr Walker, damn you. Damn you for ever getting me into this mess.
Anyway, now playing on my iPod:
New Risen Throne - Whispers Of The Approaching Wastefulness
Gravetemple - The Holy Down
Kronos Quartet - Black Angels
Merzbow - Sphere
Threshold Houseboys Choir - Form Grows Rampant
Bone Awl - Meaningless Leaning Mess
Corrupted - Se Hace Por Los Suenos Asesinos
Whitehouse - Birthdeath Experience
Nancy Sinatra - Boots
Nothing - Meshuggah
LORAH - Ministry
Just in case… - Ministry
Tohuvabohu - KMFDM
Skold - Skold
D is for Dubby - Puscifer
Palast der Republik - Neubauten
and you can never go wrong with a little nick cave inbetween…
There’s a new version?
I just bought this one at a used cd store the other day after realizing that I only had it on an 18 year old cassette. It stands up pretty well as a classic from its era, even if subsequent Pearljam albums (and Pearljam imitators) have diluted its impact.
Ministry All Day/Everyday is Halloween 12" single, but only the all day side
Modified Toy Orchestra / ZX Spect Split 10"
John McBain - The In Flight Feature

yea - they have this pretty big thing going on. In a month or so (not sure of the date) they are going to re-issue 10 with the original “re-mastered”. AND, they are releasing a whole new mix done by Brenden O’Brian. And they’re putting out their Unplugged with it. Should be quite a package. There’s 3 different versions.
I love the fact that the super deluxe edition includes the original three song demo that Vedder tried out to. That’s the best fan bonus I’ve seen. If I loved Pearl Jam more I’d be all over it.
