Good to hear Connelly doing this kind of stuff again. Though I do have to say he needs to try mixing up his flow. His raps sound very similar from song to song.
Also, I didn’t realize he was one of those self-righteous jackass vegetarians. Those sharp teeth we’ve got were made to cut into flesh, buddy!
I am literally listening to one of my neighbors crying
It reminds me of Nick Cave’s From Her To Eternity.
I need to sound proof the walls or get stronger earplugs.
Sleep<i need sleep.
I heard Danzig’s “Mother” being used in a Top 40 TV Villains show. Only UK people will know what i’m talking about, but it played over a montage of Nick Cotton waging emotional warfare on his old mum, Dot Cotton.
With the exception of the Ministry show, I restricted myself to vinyl listens this time so that Peligro wouldn’t make magick against me and turn me into a goat that will feature in one of his upcoming films. This week’s faves:
Ministry - live at Oz 1989 from ‘Ministry Mondays’ (duh!)
Cyclobe - Wounded Galaxies Tap at the Window
Nico - Desert Shore
Kim Jung Mi - Now (great S. Korean psych-folk)
William S. Burroughs - Break Through in Grey Room (the track “Burroughs Calls the Law” remains one of his funniest bits)
Francois Bayle - Couleurs de la Nuit (mind-melting ‘acousmatic’ music from one of the masters of sound design)

Bayle is great! Long time fan of his. You should try some Bernard Parmegiani too, if you haven’t already. I’ve had a double cd compilation of his sitting on the shelf now for some 15 years. Every now and then I crack it open and let it pour over me. Divine!!
np (and recently):
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works
Autechre - Oversteps
Hey guys, me and a friend recorded a reworked cover of the old KLF song “It’s Grim Up North” as a protest song/fundraiser for organizations doing their best to help out in Ferguson. I would appreciate it greatly if all of you would take the time to share this near and far. A lot of you would probably dig the track anyways, we basically took a KLF song and turned it into a RevCo son, lol.
I don’t listen to a lot of hardcore these days, but I do still have a copy of “The Youth Are Getting Restless” that doesn’t travel too far from the car stereo. One of the best records to come out of the whole genre IMHO; even the reggae interludes are burning intense.
