Hey guys, me and a friend recorded a reworked cover of the old KLF song “It’s Grim Up North” as a protest song/fundraiser for organizations doing their best to help out in Ferguson. I would appreciate it greatly if all of you would take the time to share this near and far. A lot of you would probably dig the track anyways, we basically took a KLF song and turned it into a RevCo son, lol.
Funnily enough I’m going through a bit of a Ministry phase at the moment.
More specifically I’m trying to familiarise myself with the whole Filth Pig - Animositisomina period. Anything between 1986 and 1994 I’m absolutely solid with, but after that I’m not really sure. I’ve liked a few songs here and there, but to be honest I’ve never really given it a proper chance.
I love those albums. DSOTS has its moments, but I can definitely listen to the other two straight through.
That’s my sentiment on Filth Pig. I have to listen to Sphinctour to get the true feel for some of those songs. One can only wonder if the CliTourUS live album would’ve made DSOTS songs any better.

Definitely do give it that “chance”. Filth Pig leaves most other Ministry albums for dead. In fact, next to Rape and Honey it’s probably their crowning achievement. I listened to it Friday night. I dare you to listen to Lava and not be floored.
Now listening (and recently):
Eyehategod - Take As Needed For Pain
Cathedral - The Ethereal Mirror
OLD - Formula
Autechre - Amber
Deadbeat & Paul St. Hilaire - The Infinity Dub Sessions
How did I sleep on this one for all those months?!
Absolutely brilliant…Deadbeat virtually out Rhythm & Sounds Rhythm & Sound on this one.
Pop on some great headphones and check out a few choice cuts from The Infinity Dub Sessions below…the attention to detail with Deadbeat’s production is supreme and Paul St. Hilaire is dreader than dread as usual. Great combo!
