Yeah, I didn’t click on the link. I’m in the Middle East where people get killed for that sort of thing (though all that stuff is blocked quite thoroughly through their safety filter thingies).
Recently discoverd Pedigree. Some serious Godflesh influence on these guys, ya’ll might like.

Pretty decent.
Spinnin’ KMFDM for the first time in a minute. Don’t Blow Your Top, to be precise.
Had my Thanksgiving a day early ‘cuz errone’s workin’ tomorrow. Just me, a bottle of red, and shitty industrial. Happy Turkey Day, Prongers.

The Smiths
I’ve rediscovered the incredible humor of Moz’s lyrics and the beautiful fretmanship of Mr. Marr.
So few many people get caught up in the surface of Morrissey’s lyrics that they don’t realize he’s really quite a humorist.

Let’s face it. Most people don’t have the capacity to understand subtext. When the first two lines of a band’s very first single are “Hand in glove, the sun shines out of our behinds” and yet most people, fans included, think that Moz is nothing but a miserable curmudgeon…well, you get the picture.
I love the verse in “The Queen is Dead” that goes…
“So I broke into the palace, with a sponge and a rusty spanner. She said, ‘I know you, you cannot sing’, I said ‘That’s nothing you should hear me play the pianer’.”
The guy’s hilarious.
The opening riff on ‘This Charming Man’ is up there as the sweetest guitar work there is. ‘Last Night I Dreamt…’ is also tops. Morrissey’s solo stuff hasn’t impressed me as much but You Are the Quarry was good.
“How soon is Now?” is a timeless masterpiece.

Interviewer: Did you hear t.A.T.u’s version of ‘How Soon Is Now’?
Morrissey: Yes, it was magnificent. Absolutely. Again, I don’t know much about them.
Interviewer: They’re the teenage Russian lesbians.
Morrissey: Well, aren’t we all?
Awesome band. Can’t say I’ve heard much of his solo stuff though.
All my friends like the Smiths. It’s practically a requirement for anyone in the hardcore scene or anyone with a human soul, I guess. I’m not quite into 'em.

Spinning Skrew’s Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame. Unless Charlemagne was a REALLY fucked up dude behind the scenes, their song of the same name has nothing to do with him. Still a killer song, and according to the liner notes, Al J does guitars on it.
hate dept - flesh feeds soul
Troum - Eald Ge Streon
Majestic album, fast becoming a favourite.
Korn - Path To Totality. Couldn’t resist. It’s interesting. Barely audible guitars and bass, and more electronics and JD. Not sure if it’s drum machine or the actual drummer either. Has some cool songs though. Consistent? Eh, I dunno.
Black Lung - Full Spectrum Dominance

Al and Scaccia are both on that album. It’s a friggin’ masterpiece. One of the better and underrated metal/industrial/whatever bands of the 90’s.

Yeah, I always thought that album was criminally overlooked. Might give it a spin now. Thanks for the heads up.

I think the problem with it (at least in terms of why it didn’t become a hit) was that, even though it was fresh and original when it came out, it would only be a year or two before everyone and their grandmas were putting out something like itl The industrial metal thing just got ridiculous and so homogenised by the mid-90’s.
