Velvet Underground and Nico
Last night I listened to the new Kate Bush.
Remember when she wrote tunes? Those were the days…
In the process of putting the new Al video in a WAV for endless listening.

Tell me about it. I am a fan. Her double LP was not my thing, three good songs on it…
Though she might have made the right move then, her album before she went on hiatus was real bad too
The Red Shoes? There are some top notch songs on that one if you ask me. It’s about 60/40 snoozers to great stuff.
Joy Division
The Cowsills - The Rain The Park & Other Things
Amazing :).
The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud - Rest On Your Arms Reversed
Der Blutharsch just isn’t as good…
Pailhead.

You got a Jamaican guy? This doesn’t sound simple at all.
al green. let’s stay together. only the most awesome soul deal ever, and yes, i saw him three times. YES. you can imagine this guy throwing roses to “the ladies” in concert. at the shows.(I’m so sorry if some here don’t understand that certain tricks were employed by certain artists during the 70’s and 80’s–al had a top hat and cane, too…)i prefer al green’s antics.
Al Green wasn’t Jamaican, you idiot.
never insinuated anything. dumbass. get educated before you open your dumb mouth.you know, go see a live show, for instance.you are SO fucking stupid, I really can’t continue. --grandma barker (to your dumbass)
I really can’t continue…

Yes, please don’t… No more…
With all of the recent Sabbath talk, I got myself to listen to the first album. Wasn’t bad… Might try easing myself into it. Heard a little bit of Heaven and Hell, also. No, just no… Think I can safely say that i’m definitely not a fan of Dio, at all.
“Heaven and Hell” the the Black Sabbath album, or are you referring to the recent Heaven and Hell group? I haven’t heard any new stuff by H&H, but I like the old album (especially the title track).
But, yeah, nothing compares to those original Sabbath albums with Ozzy.
The album. Dio’s pretty much everything I hate in rock music, heh. That kind of singing, etc.
HAHAHA!!! I can respect that. In truth I thought Dio was a cheesy cartoon for a long time as well. I didn’t really start appreciating him until I saw him live (opened for Iron Maiden) and he just blew me away.
I don’t mind a small handful of Dio Sabbath songs, but the real travesty is when he tries to sing the Ozzy stuff. Try “Live Evil” and you might just die of a bleeding ulcer. It’s just horrendous how he butchers the originals.
The only singer, in my opinion, that can do justice to both eras is Tony Martin. One of the most underrated singers.
