Today it’s been HanDover (which I find agreeable), and revisiting that Death Grips record. Think I’ll finish out the work week with some Power Animal.
John Zorn - Filmworks XII: Three Documentaries
John Zorn - Music For Children
Sunn O))) - Grimmrobe Demos
Xaenyn - Burn Fix
Really chilled-out minimalist electronic stuff that was made by some dude on a gaming site I browse infrequently. Got curious and decided to give it a go. It’s REALLY solid. Best served with big-ass headphones.
Ohgr - Welt
Forgot how much I enjoyed this one.
Grateful Dead - Europe 72
The Saints - Eternally Yours
Mastodon - The Hunter
Russian Circles - Empros
At the moment just thrashing Skip “Little Axe” McDonald’s new album “If You Want Loyalty Buy A Dog”…it simply rules and Adrian Sherwood’s producing is brilliant.
I saw Skip a few nights back and got some photos and a few videos…I’ll upload them shortly…until then check out the tread below which features info and a tune from the new Little Axe album…Adrian Sherwood & Skip said it was their best work to date and it’s 100% true.

I wasn’t sure that’d ever see the light of day…I imagine the complete Burial remix of the album will now be released…Massive Attack’s latest was pretty lame…but I’m well up for a Burial interpretation of it.
Burial’s last 12" was great…check it out below…

Yeah, Hegioland wasnt all that. The chick from Mazzy Star did a decent job on Paradise Circus, but for the most part there were only two other tracks I dug. I think that guy Damon from Gorillaz inspired them in a bad way for that release.
Mentallo & The Fixer - Where Angels Fear To Tread
Chemlab - Neurozone
