What are you listening to right now?

Black Sabbath live with Rob Halford

Streaming Bon Iver’s new one.

Big Black - Songs For Fucking.

Right on.

Melvins Brooklyn Residency set from the other night. Killer quality too!

Finally listening to the corrected version of Last Rights after almost 20 years of dealing with the fucked up version. Tracked down Left Handshake in FLAC and threw that in. Very pleased.

Cyber-Tec Project

cyber-tec’s pretty boring. sounds like all eighties, which could be good, if you muck it up.

scott walker. he, like I: deep thoughts.

Billion Dollar Babies - Battle Axe

These guys really needed Alice in the band to make it work.

We’ve created a MONSTER!

and monsters are legends.
anyway, came home to this queen documentary which i’m watching again. it makes documentaries of other bands (no family members included, btw!) seem driven without a vision. the ministry doc is awesome. the story of queen made my jaw drop.
so, the queen documentary is what i’m currently listening to. on the biography channel.

I’ve been thrashing the recent King Creosote & Jon Hopkins album “Diamond Mine”. Pure Scottish bliss.

Pig - The Fountain of Miracles 12"
Pet Shop Boys - Disco
Clutch - Pitchforks and Lost Needles

Kinda funny. Earlier today I thought about turning on Take Care…which I still haven’t really given a full listen to yet. And I found myself randomly humming random songs from The Boatman’s Call at work today too, heh. Into My Arms, the most consistent.

Been listening to a lot of Velvet Underground lately though. Like ALOT!
