we had a collection of tapes recorded by the fishermen around seattle( I guess), which were really, really, old. scratchy. They were cool. and yes, shanties. And it is beyond irony that the person who grew up with the songs of the sea had a 20 year professional relationship with someone who eventually assumed the identity of a pirate. go figure.

Yes Paul has been riding Italian motorcycles since he was 21 or so. We have a few Ducatis and a Moto Morini. They’re all older models. Early to mid 80s-90s. We have had a lot of fun with them, especially with friends like Paul Elledge and his wife Leasha. They both ride. I’m licensed but don’t ride since having kids.
