Paul’s working on a LOT of music, in addition to preparing for the upcoming rockshows–practice, practice, practice. (He will however be nailed to a studio chair forever) Paul’s pedal business is moving right along. Malekko Heavy Industry will have a VIP table at Metro. Special Ed’s a mystery to me. Can’t say.

Thanks… anything coming out any time soon?
Late,

What is this material you speak of Gerda? USSA? Flowering Blight? Could it possibly be new Lead Into Gold? I think we’re all still waiting for Low & Slow
we’re watching scarface, let you know later.
snaps!
thanks for dropping in. hope to see you there.
commercial break. thanks catgoat. back to the cubans, and ALL puns intended.
I think the prongs compilation disc should be called “Gay For Paul Barker”. Simultaneously fitting and funny.
I had allway’s wondered what ‘G.Barker’
(in the dark side of the spoon notes was short for)
I believe it actually was G & U Barker what is the U. short for? (that’s prob lil’ photo Barker)
p.s. Gerda you seem… cool as fuck! that’s the best way to express that ha!
Gerda,
I met Paul in 2003 and he was a way cool guy! He signed all of my Ministry albums…which was awesome!
Let him know that I still appreciate it
Paul’s working on some music with Chris , among others. He’s working on a record of duets. Don’t know what the release date will be because it isn’t finished yet.
p.s. the G & U Barker are Gerda and Ursula, our first child, born during Lollapalooza.

Major Barker (ie. boner) with this news. I hope to fuck Paul can, nay will be involved somehow with The High Confessions as their first album was cool as F.
And a belated welcome to prongs, Gerda. Needless to say we’ve been waiting for feedback from a Barker for about… oh 10 years or so.
I hope to fuck Paul
Sorry, since I read it that way on first glance I figured an out-of-context quote would be appropriate. Or not.
Rock on, homos!

From someone who’s avatar is infinitely more gay than I could ever be, I am totally indifferent.
I hope to fuck Paul
The homo angle is rich. Paul grew up in a household listening to showtunes. And songs “of the sea”. I never did. Yell some "Oklahoma , man! " and heads will turn. Especially Cynthia Plastercaster"s , who will be there, as one of my party peeps. Oh Jesus H… …

What are songs “of the sea”? Like sea shanties? Pirate songs or something?
PB4PB: Paul Barker for Paul Barker
we had a collection of tapes recorded by the fishermen around seattle( I guess), which were really, really, old. scratchy. They were cool. and yes, shanties. And it is beyond irony that the person who grew up with the songs of the sea had a 20 year professional relationship with someone who eventually assumed the identity of a pirate. go figure.

Sounds awesome! I snagged a box of old Perry Como records from my grandma’s attic one time.
HAHAHA!!! It took me a while to get your pirate reference. Excellent.
I fortunately have known a bunch of drag queens in Chicago…hmmm. i may have to adjust the wardrobe for the weekend. study up on the high kicks.
