It seems you may’ve gotten off on the wrong foot with a few of the members here, and I think that’s a shame. There are some fine folks here who you’d probably be glad to get to know if you had the chance.
I think perhaps if you could dial down the “Al and Ministry sucks and I hope they all die” schpiel it could be a good start. Trust me when I say this, we hold nothing against someone for disliking the new stuff. You’ll actually find there are plenty that share your sentiment, but I don’t think you need to mention the same stuff in EVERY thread (especially the ones which have nothing to do with Al or Ministry).
Maybe you could tell us a little about yourself BESIDES the fact that you like early Ministry and do NOT like any of the new stuff or the band as it currently exists (we’re all pretty clear on these topics). What other bands do you like? Do you have any hobbies? What is your career? Do you have pets? Play any instruments? That type of stuff.

I even like stuff that is totally pop like Katy perry or Madonna…the b52s and culture club, air supply or Reo speedwagon & yet I can groove to the grind of cradle of filth or Cannibal corpse and dimmu Burgir…fuckin IRON MAIDEN & JUDAS PRIEST rule the earth and I don’t have to elaborate how much I adore NIN…skinny puppy is hit or miss but garage rock like oasis and white stripes and weezer is too fun to pass up…so much great music yet so lil time to absorb it all.
I think the worst thing about metal is the guido attitude and I call it such cuz the scumbags at metal shows remind me of the machismo indicative of guidos…it’s very tedious and annoying.

My name is SKot, and Twitch is by far my favorite Ministry album. To this day there’s nothing quite like it. I am also obsessive about everything up to (and including) Twitch, and I even enjoyed LORAH and Mind quite a bit, as well as all the side projects up to Pigface…which for the most part I thought was a complete failure, including their live shows (which I witnessed). I felt like Psalm 69 was where Ministry jumped the shark, even though for most Ministry fans it’s the album that made them a fan. It’s also the point where all the metalheads started coming on board, for better or for worse. Sadly, Psalm 69 is not even good metal. My honest opinion is that this is where Uncle Al got stuck in a groove which he’s never gotten out of since.
Basically, I like Ministry, et Al, up through 1990. I love Twitch, and I think some of the best Ministry songs ever written never got released or heard by the general public.
