they should cover songs off of The Last Sucker.
a 30 minute version of Get Down. my god. that would be good.
Which would mean Ogre would have to be a special guest. Which could mean he’d perform double duty with RevCo Classic and KMFDM Classic. I’m going to start referring those acts by those names. It makes sense imo.
And is Front 242 headlining this thing?

TKK is playing Saturday night, with their touring opener, so I’m guessing they headline on Saturday night, and 242 is headlining Friday night. Maybe the RevCo Classic lineup headlines either day, and maybe they can get more ex-members involved, such as Ogre, Rieflin, or even…Reznor? Trent’s a big Wax Trax fan, it’s not too far-fetched an idea.
Also, I’m curious if CC still keeps in touch with his Fini Tribe bandmates, and if that could be a potential special guest appearance? Chris, if you’re lurking, can you divulge anything?

Actually Bahntier’s label posted over on litany that they would not be performing on Saturday, and it is just TTK. Justin from Bahntier will most likely be playing drums though as he has for the past few TTK tours. He also happens to be the touring drummer for Skinny Puppy so who knows at this point who will show up.
This update just came in:
“Revolting Cocks is now confirmed to play the Wax Trax festival. Revolting Cocks will be led by Erie Load and consist entirely of members of Blownload. This is the official Revolting Cocks endorsed and approved by Al Jourgensen, founder of Ministry and Revolting Cocks.”
Not sure which is worse. That idea of revco mockery or ministry actually playing the event, but only playing Last Sucker in it’s entirity.
I really hope somebody tapes this. If not, at least help my imagination with a setlist of the bands.
If TKK busted out a classic stage show like in the old days with The Bomb Gang Girlz I’ll be even more pissed. I heard the stage show has gotten completely watered down over the years
Please tell me this is being recorded visually somehow. And not shitty cell phone versions… Real high quality stuff is a must.
i thought everybody knew al was NEVER invited…
didn’t realize it was all so official. i thought people played shows cause they wrote music and decided. hey i like that shit. im gonna go play a show. fuck this other noise. lets just put on a fuckin show…
anyway… pig? barker? what no foetus? ahhh he wears too much beige now anyway. this is all the dark shit… im sure. isn’t there a ministry song called, unsung?

“See you guys on April 15 & 16 at the Wax Trax! Records Retrospectacle: 33 1/3 Year Anniversary in Chicago. I’m looking forward to it.”
Are you flying in from Ireland to see this Mick? Damn homes, that’s dedication![/reply]
Been living in D.C. since last year. However I will be flying to Ireland on Sunday 17th (probably suffering from a serious hangover, not looking forward to that part!)
Anyways we’ll have to organise some sort of prongs meet up on the Friday. It looks like there’s at least 7 here who will be attending.
Also, recommendations for affordable accomodation are welcome from those familiar with the area.
Plus, if homeboy hadn’t burned every bridge in the scene, he would have been talking to these guys already instead of hanging at home, listening to ZZ Top, and stewing by the phone, muttering about how these a-holes never invited him to the Wax Trax thingie.
Yeah, go figure, when people don’t like you you don’t get invited to hang out with them. Big surprise.

Yeah, we’ll all have to meet up for sure… my friend blew my off and didn’t get tickets so I’ll be there all by my lonesome.
As for affordable hotels I think your best best is priceline or hotels.com or something of that nature and try to get one downtown. There might be a few scattered hotels on the Northside but most of them are either downtown or by the airports. Trouble is there isn’t much middle ground when it comes to pricing and the really cheap hotels are pretty sketchy and would probably be pretty scary to spend the night in unless you fancy yourself Charles Bronson or something

HAHA!!! I was doing business in San Francisco once and hadn’t booked a room ahead of time. I figured I’d just find something and do it on the fly. I stayed at some Travelodge or something by the Tenderloin.
This place was so sketchy that you had to pay through a bullet proof glass window/booth thingy (kind of like those gas station booths or banks) with the little slide-under-the-window slot for payment.
Later I needed an iron and I had to give them collateral cash deposit of $40 which the guy put in a cubby hole and taped my room # to it.
The room itself wasn’t as disgusting as you may imagine it was (don’t get me started on the Korean Murder Hotel I stayed in), but it was certainly dodgy in every other aspect.
I definitely want to meet up with all the prongers that are gonna be there. I should have my travel plans cemented by this weekend, so as the date gets closer, we can arrange a GT. Afra mentioned doing a ‘pre-game’ at his place, or we could meet at a bar close by, anything would be cool. I’ll be there from the 14th thru the 17th, and outside of the festival, will just be looking to try some good local cuisine, and see the sights (this will be my first trip to Chicago). I’m meeting a friend there on the 14th, and our schedule will be fairly wide open. I’ll shoot my cell # to everyone who will be in town that weekend.

we are playing exclusively the A side and B side of the Three Angry Poles 12" “Motorcycle maniac”, that’s all…it seemed somehow…appropriate
xx toodles
Whatever that means…
I will be making a personal appearance to sign swastikas on your newborn babies and wives’ tits as part of the WaxTrax festival.
They better bust out some Viagra Culture

If you could also throw in both sides of Divine’s ‘Born To Be Cheap’ single - This could possibly be THE perfect setlist! Imagining your take on ‘The Name Game’ is giving me chills!
