Yep…started over the weekend. Watched 3 episodes. Totally out there. Pretty good so far.
Way too slow for me. I just keep getting irritated. And Andy needs to fucking die. That wooden joke on a stick makes me fucking cringe every time.
It’s definitely a slow burn but I am still enjoying it…that being said, it is definitely time for Agent Cooper to break out of his weird catatonic state of being…
The sound design is off the charts good…
I’m liking it except for “Dougie Jones”. That stopped being amusing in a hurry.

They all just carry on with this retarded schtick as if a guy that doesn’t speak and just stumbles around like a zombie being pulled everywhere is normal. I suppose there’s some message there about how wrapped up people are in their one-track lives and own egocentric tunnel to see how drastically someone has changed but . . . . it’s just way too moronic.
Everytime “Dougie” sees something that is a possible trigger (coffee, cop badge, etc.) my wife and I are screaming at the TV – “WAKE UP, COOPER!!! WAKE UP!!! DOUGIE SUCKS!!!”
And we’ve gone like three weeks now without some more boobies. This channel is costing me an extra $25 a month for this damn show. I don’t only want to hear a couple f-bombs. Just sayin’.

My wife is a big fan of the original series, and I didn’t mind watching them with her when she got her DVD’s about 5 years back (which she still watches from time to time).
I ordered ShowTime the day before the premiere just so my wife could watch the new series.
I watch it with her too.
But I hate it.
And she hates it too.
We have this weird obligation to keep watching.
I pay $25 a month extra so I can suffer miserably and hate people. It’s a sweet deal.

Oh yeah the walking dead has become so bad my wife and i pretty much MST3K all the way through it. What astounds me is the comic is still rather good. How is it that Kirkman can move his story along in the comics in roughly 20 pages a month way more than scott gimple can run 4 hours a month using the same source material? Kirkman has clearly lost control of his show to shitty hollywood execs.
