Raymond is the shit. i think he was the best thing about new kmfdm after he left they are just boring(Sacha is no front man) he has been doing a bunch of stuff for Mqueen the fasion guy, and SOW put out a new record after 12 yrs ,maybe it’s not out yet but in the next month, with new PIG music. Speaking of SOW does anyone remember the bio i posted about her in a SOW thread? It seriously was the most fucked up gen. weird past i ahve ever read.
Veil of Maya is pretty much my favorite band right this second. “Id” is RIDICULOUS.

Agreed! Watts was a talent that was never pushed correcty by labels.

Both sides suffered some. Raymond got schaft’d by that label,
and kmfdm one of their major collaborators who was around longer than even En Esch. Kmfdm lost their variety, but they regained some on the last album since Skold sort of returned.
Only song I heard off the album was Pots Blitz and that was the heaviest song they’ve put out in quite some time. I’ve yet to heard Skold VS KMFDM but Im sure that was great especially if its anything reminiscent of MDFMK. I also heard that Skold is gonna put out a new solo album this year. His first one was pretty fucking awesome

Have you heard their Tohuvabohu album? There’s a song, Saft und Kraft that might as well be another ADAW, which both are heavier than Pots Blitz. Seems like everything 2003-onward was trying to recreate the Angst album. Tohu was an attempt and going poppy and bizarre again, and Blitz straight up did it.
Last album I had a somewhat good dose of was Hau Ruck which pretty much needed Ray to make it complete. I never listenend to the full album but it just made me think of WWIII without him. I heard a couple of clips from Tohu and decided I’d pass but I guess I’ll check it out now. Probably wont buy any albums from them until Ray somehow comes back. I still need to hear more of the classic albums, namely Dont Blow Your Top, Money and Naive
WTYKD is really just so different from anything else the band did. It’s got zappa lyrics, humor, it seems more like a bunch of kids having a great time making interesting music then mr serious kapt’n K and crew
The first three albums “borrowed” heavily from Mr. Zappa and others for lyrics. Sometimes I think the only lyrics not stolen were the KMFDM sloganeering lyrics. The first four albums are easily my favorite.

If you’re talking about people getting banned on other boards, I’d suspect there aren’t too many boards that wouldn’t have banned you for comments in the famous “Baboon 3” thread. 
That said, yeah you’re right - this thread did rather get derailed. On topic, Cabaret Voltaire’s “Micro-phonies” is my favorite album of the moment. Damn, it is so fucking good!
Hey peligro, quit ur bitchin. Perhpas PIG is a current favorite for some and we just got into talking about him for a minute. So perhaps this thread didnt get that far off topic. As for KMFDM Nihil and What Do You Know Deutchland are also current faves and always will be when it comes to them. Watts is a big reason why. Man I need to get a copy of Opium 1984
