If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past week, you’ve probably seen the newest controversial topic regarding Olsen and Peligro. I thought a dedicated thread would be fun so we could get to the bottom of this the way things are settled in civil society . . . by letting Gunnar be an impartial judge on the matter.

Without going into excruciating detail (that is your job, everyone!) here is the case in a nutshell . . .

ACCUSATION:
Peligro and Olsen are, in fact, the same person.

SUMMARY OF EVIDENCE SO FAR FOR PROSECUTION:
“Olsen” has posted fake photos of himself and “Peligro” has admitted knowledge of such fraudulent postings.
“Olsen” and “Peligro” both like weird music and are Australian.
“Peligro” is the only one that has supposedly met “Olsen”.
Also, they are both Australian.
Did I mention that they are Australian?

SUMMARY OF EVIDENCE SO FAR FOR DEFENSE:
“Olsen” and “Peligro” claim to be separate people.
It’s kind of silly.
They’re both Australian.

Anyway, everyone is welcome to present all facts, theories, and ideas regarding this case. I will fairly evaluate all sides and then decide if an act of fraud has occurred or if Mr. Smurf is simply being delusional.

Okay, then . . . . let’s have a proper professional trial, shall we?

I recommend you focus on the case and worry about sentencing if and when we get there. As a fair and moral judge I must go on record to say that bribes are illegal and frowned upon (PM me and we’ll discuss it further, if you catch my drift).

I used to make fake identities on the old Piss Army board all the time. I’d have them get in fights with each other, threaten each other. All kinds of silliness.

After watching this TV show on MTV called “Catfish” I had a brilliant idea for an episode where I write in about some person I’m in an online relationship with. Then we end up going back to MY house where I run back and forth Mrs. Doubtfire style, changing clothes and hair each time until it’s finally determined that I was having a relationship with myself and I was actually just a mental case.

Actually, I guess Fight Club was sort of like that too.

Anyway . . . . back to the case.

Please? I studied law for about 18 months before I got thrown out for a “practical joke” that backfired. So I have experience. And I’m Australian! And I have compelling evidence.

Peligro signing into to these Sock Puppet accounts as these people to prove he’s not these people is terrible form.

Your objection is heard and put on record accordingly. The “evidence” is admissible and will be considered accordingly, but notes are also logged with respect to the potential doubt of legitimacy of said evidence and will be evaluated at time of judgment.

I happen to know that definitely one of those pics is Olsen. Without permission I can’t say which. Sorry guys but he’s “real” (that feels so weird to type).

Peligro, I do not know if he is “real” or not. I have listened to a radio show of his that he PM’d me about. His voice definitely isn’t the same as Olsen’s so…I’m going to go with “real”.

I dunno, unless there’s something even weirder going on behind the scenes. Personally, I always just assumed that several board members were the one person. I mean, it happens everywhere, right?

Isn’t it weird how Amlux shows up for support at just the right time? claiming to be the voice of truth but yet mirrors all the same poor qualities as Olsen and Peligro whenever he does come around? (which is usually when one of them needs help on the board with testimony of some sort)

I’m far from rich. Neither is my family. My family have a large home but it was bought for a song 12 years ago when property prices were 1/3 of what they are today. Olsen as far as I know survives off the sale of a business. I’m not sure if he’s “rich” by Aussie standards but he does a whole lot better than me.

I earn well below the median annual Australian income.

They have the exact same likes and dislikes in Music and cinema.

Half the board here have similar tastes in music. Olsen likes metal way more than I. Especially black and doom, of which I only like a few acts.

I don’t know what movies he’s into. Assume he likes arty weird shit.
