The PA had a post on rehearsal footage. Alot of the footage dealt with construction and assembly of a chain link fence. Looks like we’re in for the 89-90 fence again. Hopefully Phildo won’t be running around naked and climbing the damn thing this time.
the fence WAS raw aggression.
what’s this replica all about, aside from greed?
Well, IT IS supposed to be the final tour afterall, and that fence is pretty damn memorable if you ask me. So I say kudos to bringing back the fence; maybe it’s a sign of good things to come.
heh - that’s a trip. the only thing tho… show security is very differnet now. venues won’t let anyone get close enough to climb on it. i bet only the band will climb on it. i’m thinking it might be a bit anti-climatic.
my buddy is still pushing for us to buy atlanta tickets, yet - i still haven’t bought them. i’m REAL interested to see the set list from a show this year.

Nostalgia? That’s not always a bad thing y’know.
Tell you what, we’ll go out and see your old pal - who still puts on a good performance, despite what folks may think of his current creative output - and you can stay home and fume about how angry you still are about whatever happened between you two.
i never bought that tribute cd but i remember when there was a fuss (perhaps on here) about nobody getting the fence pieces and you could just email invisible to get one. which i did, and got a tagged fence piece in the mail shortly after. but yeah according to al he still has it stored somewhere. so martin really fucked that up multiple times.
That tribute cd sucked anyway. Only “The Angel” by… someone who’s name eludes me at the moment… was worth listening to.
I absolutely disagree there. Usually those tribute albums are absolute crap, but I actually liked several. The Angel cover was by Julian Beeston (from Nitzer Ebb and The Shining) and was definitely one of the high points of the album. The Isle Of Man cover and Pig’s Just Like You were really nice as well. There were a couple other better than passable tracks on there as well.
It gets better. He never had the fence to send in the first place.
You have been owned by Martin Atkins.[/reply]
I recei ved my piece of the fence. After reading on here it was fake I emailed Invisible and got a reply from martin saying that there were actually TWO fences, one for a music video, the other for tour. He had the music video one, cut it up, sent it out melted what as left to make hubcaps for a chemlab video or something…
Being mouthsexed by 15+ people?
Hey, I could live with that.
I personally LOVED both “Wish You Were Queer” and “Another Prick In The Wall.”
