The End Of NIN

Oh i’ve seen those necklaces and much better pics. I just assumed that since it was NIN and the last shows they’re like, do somethign cool. I mean Psychic Tv had cooler pins at thier reunion shows and they have far less capitol to work with. Maybe I’m just spoiled or something. Also the shirts seem really flimsy again like on the JA tour. I got on of the terminal 5 limited ones. I know the show only posters sold out before the crowd even got in the place. And you’re right people were stocking up like little collectors to make a few off the and, but they eventually caught on and put a limit on the # you could buy. I mean really, buying 30 shirts at once asn’t a hint? For somebody who went so far out of his way to not dick his fans over w/the ticket prices and availability the merch people would have/should have caught on much quicker.

There were only 100 Echoplex event t-shirts printed. Some asshole bought 30 and put them up on e-bay for $250 each. He didn’t even stay for the show. Subsequently, the event shirts were limited to one per person for the Fonda and Wiltern shows.

What a cocksucker!
I hope nobody buys ANY of those Tshirts and that Dickhead loses a substantial amount of $$$.
at $30.00 a shirt he’d have to sell 4 in order to basically break even

Trent should sell a $30 shirt to anyone who can show a ticket stub.

You are spoiled. I am not a professional or amateur photographer; my photos were taken with a 10.1 MP mini-point-and-shoot camera.

The Wiltern shirt is thinner than the other three shirts and just as thin as the shirts sold at NIN|JA. I have one L.A. and one tour poster. I did not see any show-specific posters.

To the best of my knowledge, NIN merch sold t-shirts, girly t’s, posters, and hats; there were no official NIN necklaces, stickers, cds, pins, or buttons sold at any of these shows.

As far as the NIN merch people being wise to the hoarders - I’m not sure if NIN’s merch people travel with NIN from city to city, if the venue provides additional people to help, or both. I question because there seemed to be several girls at the Palladium show helping with the merch and then just two guys at the Echoplex, Fonda, and Wiltern shows. I’m not even sure if they were the same two guys.

Danny also did Crank, I think. He’s not a touring musician anymore, but he certainly keeps himself busy.

Mike Patton did Crank 2, although Lohner cameos in that.[/reply]
really what part of the movie is danny in?[/reply]

He and Maynard played dogwalkers.

There’s a nice interview with Trent up at www.avclub.com

hmmm. Must of confused it with something else. I actually remember a pic with danny and maynard on set. Not sure if maynard had a cameo also though.

I checked IMDB.com earlier and your right. Marnard and Danny are apparently dog walker # 1 and dog walker #2 thanks for the heads up

No worries.

And to complete my NIN experience, the four of us staying together contracted the NINfluenza/cold that caused TR to postpone the Fonda and Wiltern shows. However, I seem to have a less severe case than the other three.

I was thinking he should just make that a generic Tshirt and sell it on his website for 5 bucks!

Another 100 would make many Echoplex people very happy. Plus, they already know who the ticket holders are and have an Echoplex e-mail distribution list set up for when they sent the instructions for the ticket pickup.
