That is an insane amount of songs.

yes. very cool. compare this to culatour!!

He’ll be back.

Oh I don’t doubt that he’ll be back, but at least he is putting NIN on the shelf for awhile until he can come up with some good ideas for the project rather than say… beating a dead horse like some people who hate Bush and just pumping out crap albums… I’m just remarking that the setlist is insane. Lots of songs from all the albums, some awesome covers (notice there is no such nonsense like Bang-A-Gong, eh?), and some help from other bands/people that are actually interesting to see up there (notice there is no sucky person like Burton C. Bell, except for maybe the exception of Dave Navarro but at least he’s a good guitar player)…

I’ve got an idea for him - Year Zero pt. 2.
But most likely he’s just going to busy himself producing the next Jane’s Addiction, getting married, making babies, etc.

That is the longest set list I think I’ve ever seen and fair fucks to him for pullin it off but there are songs there that could have been replaced by better ones. I’m not sure his choice of covers was the best either (except Dead Souls) but that’s just me.

A man who respects his fans. Puts most others to shame.

Legend.

I was at the Henry Fonda show, two nights before this one, and it was nothing short of amazing. Trent put on a helluva performance, played for 3 hours and pulled some real wild cards out of the back catalog (“Get down make love” being the big surprise). I must say seeing them in smaller venues is a much more satisfying experience than seeing them from 2 miles away at stadium shows.

yep. respect for fans is primo consideration. i agree with mick on the setlist too.

That’s good…as long as he’s not co-producing the next Saul Williams album I’m happy.

As for Trent’s setlist…It really does show what a lazy effort Al put into his farewell tour for the fans.

“lazy effort” is a kind interpretation.

The Palladium and Henry Fonda shows were epic. Trent actually seems to care about his fans. He has been communicating frequently, allowing fans to tape both audio and video of the shows, playing tons of songs for this tour, I could go on and on. Al…he…um…types messages out in all caps every now and then promoting the latest remix album, didn’t deliver on his farewell tour (guests were a joke and that was not a farewell tour set list), and drinks lots of red wine with his dogs (Angie included). I like Ministry and always will but Al severely lacks in his interactions with the fans of his music.

i taped the show. Should be around sometime this weekend.

Wow thats a damn good setlist, he actually pulled out some Fragile material. My only complaint would be The Hand That Feeds, that song reminds me of Linkin Park for some reason.

I hope someone informs Al of what a farewell Reznor gave his fans.

god damn its been a while since ive stepped foot in here.

since we’re on the subject of NIN and all…

I’ve been working on a little project that you may all be interested in.

as you may know, NIN played TDS in its entirety on two nights over these last 2 weeks. all this raw footage kept popping up all over the place, so I decided to make something cohesive out of all of it.

This brings us to…

www.thedownwardspirallive.com

here’s the site I put together to host the video project.

once all the tracks are finished being edited, i plan on remastering NINSLAVE’s audio recording of the webster hall show and putting a nice little dvd torrent out.

not sure how long this will take me. since its just me at this point. but its been fun so far.

hope you guys enjoy!

cool. post back when you get something together.

there are 2 vids up now.

working on a few others.

TY

Sweetness!

I just downloaded the Henry Ford show, although i’m seeing there’s a much better quality show up on Dime apparently. But, it was not Atticus Ross with them - it was Danny Lohner.
