I don’t care what you folk think…i know deep down Al wouldn’t do that![mad][mad][mad]

…or would he?[cool]

Well, obviously the first setlist is going to be the standard.
The question is, will he spend four nights doing the exact same thing every time?

I’m prowling the PA for the first review…it still hasn’t popped up so i’m assuming it was the standard setlist too.

Revcopussy said it was “great” and her ears are still ringing. No set list mentioned though. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!![mad][mad][mad]

From Litany:

"ok. so I just got home. my ears are definitely ringing!!!

They opened with Over the Shoulder!!! and then went into Let’s Go. Then they did Revco’s 38 and segued into I Wanted To Tell Her. The crowd went nuts. He mentioned how glad he was to be back home in Chicago and then ripped into Flashback, Crash and Burn and then What About Us. The crowd was jumping for Bad Blood and then All Day which got everyone singing with lighters aflame!!! Next came Lies Lies Lies! and then Man Should Surrender. The pit was going nuts! I felt like I was going to collapse from the heat. He joked about metal and said he was sorry for all the tomfoolery of the last 8 years and said he was most proud of the work he did long ago on Wax Trax! and did a medley of Nature of Love, Halloween, I’m Falling and We Believe. Then Ogre came out and they did Show Me Your Spine, Noreen/The Fall, Get Down and The Light Pours Out of Me. Then Jello came out and they did Drug Raid at 4am and 70’s Rock Must Die. We were creaming!!!

…and then I woke up and the show started with the same setlist as all the rest of the tour.

Yeah, the show was good, but nothing special. They played So What and NWO, Thieves and Just One Fix. Those got the whole place jumping and the rest was good too. I had a really good time, even if they did nothing out of the ordinary. They were tight. The energy was really good. If it was just a tour in support of The aLast Sucker I would say it was an excellent show, but for a last tour and retrospective it was pretty wank. I wish it had been better, but all in all, it was still a really enjoayable show and I am glad I went just the same. here’s looking to new Puppy at least they didn’t go heavy mental."

You know it’s bad when that improbable fantasy set list is a million times better than the real one, and he even leaves out Mind, Psalm 69, and Houses!

it was the same shit, different day.

why god, why for fucks sake!? i won’t be attending another.

side note: i had a great time (i know some of you will hate this) hanging out with all my friends from PA. that made it a great night, not the show, unfortunately. i wasn’t too optimistic to begin with.

now let’s hope barker DOES REALLY GET A “COVER BAND” TOGETHER to play all the stuff people have been wanting to hear.

well i guess it’s not technically a cover band if you wrote half the material, eh?
that WOULD be awesome.

edit

I’m going to the show Sunday so hopefully he’ll mix it up for the LAST show! LOL

Seriously though, I do like his later stuff so I’m not completely saddened by the list. I love Ministry and the live show rocks so I’m not going to get bent out of shape and rue that he’s not playing old stuff. I would have liked to see a song or two off FP but what are you going to do? And personally, I think his cover of Roadhouse Blues is one of the most intense songs I’ve ever heard so I’m glad he’s doing that.

But, I’ll let you know more on Monday!

sunday is not the LAST LAST show. he’s taking his ball to Europe after that. unless those dates all got cancelled of course…

I also read somewhere early on that he will be doing select club dates here in the US after that. But I’m still touting it as the last show! [cool]

last show is actually Masters Of Rock in the Czech republic

I’m gonna take a wild guess:

Let’s Go
The Dick Song
Watch Yourself
Life Is Good
The Last Sucker
No W
Waiting
Worthless
Wrong
Rio Grande Blood
Señor Peligro
Lies Lies Lies
Khyber Pass
