Is there a Ministry to be part of? Thought this album was the last?
Guess that means he’s putting together a band for a tour he swore he’d never do.
Thought ministry was finally put to bed. So does that mean there will be more ministry?

Ministry is Al, and if he feels like slapping together a team to make another album with or do some gigs with . . . then there is a Ministry to be a part of. He’s sworn he would NOT do this, though, and has said repeatedly in recent interviews that Ministry is done.

I think he swore he wouldn’t “tour”, but he did hint a few times that he could be open to the idea of doing a couple select shows.
That being said, I don’t think this particular rumor is worth the bandwidth it takes up on the interwebz.

I wish Al and crew would do some sort of dubby thing live, like Metal Box In Dub or something. Guitars are boring. It’s tired. What would sell more, another Ministry tour playing From Beer To Eternity material, or another tour playing Work For Love/Twitch-esque material?

Yes, but I don’t recall the specifics either. I think it said something in Al’s book even (if that is admissible as evidence, haha) . . . maybe he took advantage of a passed out 16 year old or something. Hopefully someone with better retention can chime in.
I’d seen it mentioned somewhere else too, though (before the book came out).
I believe the story is also in Chris’s book. Terry Bones has an interview somewhere on Prongs. He seems like a moron.

I think Al is one of those dudes that is just temperamental and says, “Screw you guys, I’m goin’ home!” a lot . . . . but then doesn’t know what to do when he gets there. I am not putting much stock into ANYTHING until or unless I actually see/hear something.

If Pailhead, in name only. I seriously doubt Ian Mackaye would collaborate with Al anymore, especially given the direction of Ian’s music now. The Evens.

I wouldn’t worry about chopping hairs on the logistics, Smurf. It’s all just stoner talk at this point.
I can’t think of anything I’ve liked (in honesty, I don’t know if I’ve even HEARD anything) from Ian MacKaye since Fugazi’s “Steady Diet of Nothing” which was, what? 1991? But I wouldn’t mind hearing him on an Al project.
