Fear Is Big Business is amazing, i think they opened with it on one tour, possibly. I seem to remember a very long, building intro to that track when they played it live anyway. Great song.

MasterbaTour, but I could be wrong…
Yeah, the 2006 tour with Revolting Cocks. MasterbaTour.
Great fucking opener.
That’ll be the one, the only Ministry show i was threatened with violence at, by some topless London arsehole who ended up getting kicked out. I’ve never understood the idea of selecting some random person, who’s just walking past you and not even looking at you, for some kind of bullshit Fight Club action. Can some people not enjoy violent music without actually committing violence, are they that stupid?
I was listening to FBTE yesterday and thinking that Sammy REALLY overdid the stop/start edits on the whole album, so i suppose this is gonna be a full album of that kind of thing. Could be fun, could be shit, but most likely is that it will never happen. I mentioned in another thread the other day that i rarely believe a word Al says, so i’m never disappointed when things don’t happen [:)]
I hereby eat my own words, the album turned out to be real after all. Although maybe i should hold back until it actually gets released… “There’s many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip”.
I’m fully expecting it to be unlistenable, but I’m also a bit impressed that it’s actually going to see the light of day.
Well, the debut album is supposedly finished, and heard by a few people at special events (any members of this forum?). So why no news on a release date?
No label I bet.
Wow! This is from the night of Al’s SMM debut on his birthday show. I’m really impressed with how relaxed, sober (I mean in this moment - I’m not making any guesses about his life in general), and fairly intelligent Al sounds in this interview.
So refreshing.
yea he does seem sober. his mannerisms and speech are solid. cool.

Indeed. Seems like he’s in good shape. I would even describe his mood as jovial.
He goes through waves like that. Hope it sticks this time.
Did he get permanent fang implants?
Yes. He got the fangs at the same time he got his face tattooed and adorned with a million face piercings.
Ok, I’ve seen them before but I wasn’t sure if they were permanent or just removable caps.

I’m not 100% sure, but I seem to recall, at the time they were done, that we were told they were implants. So, semi-permanent. I think his teeth were falling out and he needed work anyway, so he just figured why not do something groovy.

I see his… Points.

Some new information to chew over, indeed.
about half of FBTE is decent for me. Relapse would be the worst. i’ve been listening to Hail To His Majesty lately, which is a pretty damn stupid song but there’s something oddly catchy about it. Thankx and Change are the best songs since 2004.
whatever happened to Dubweiser? i’d actually be excited for Al doing an album like the first half of Thanx, assuming that’s what it was going be like.
Yeah, “Change of Luck” and “Thanx But No Thanx” are really stellar.
