Gunnar, grmpy, Anaheim?

I hope they make their way over to Europe at some point.

I’m not a huge Chelsea Wolfe fan, but that’s a really cool choice for an opener.

Gunnar, grmpy, Anaheim?

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn’t mind kicking off the tour.

Since when did Al get such a good fucking touring manager/agent to get such talented people like Chelsea Wolfe and Death Grips? Seriously. I’m kinda floored by that

Still trading on that name.

Toronto sold out in a day! Wasn’t Ministry struggling to fill venues just a few years ago?

Everybody gave up on North Carolina. No one comes through here any more except for bands like Whitesnake and REO Speedwagon.

Those guys are still alive?!

Pretty sure Al said he would never play Anaheim House Of Blues Ever again after his Revco show… My how “ever again” went fast.

Wasn’t he also saying at one point that Ministry would never play anywhere ever again?

Anyone?
I’ll see you in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Orlando.

Shit,I just realized the Orlando date coincides with my trip to Asheville,NC to see another concert…

Decided we’re going to go to the Ventura show. Only have to take off one day for that date.

Also, the wife is from there, so we’ll make a weekend out of it.

Joey Jordison back in the fold. . .

Unexpected. But he’s gotta eat and it’ll definitely be the highest-profile thing he’s done since quitting Slipknot.

Funny though, just this morning I saw a clip of a set from when he was playing with them in 06 or whenever, and the comments section was full of absolutely nothing but people raging back and forth about how personally offensive to them it is that someone from Slipknot was ever in any way involved with Ministry and “tainting” them by association. Ha.

http://www.prongs.org/ministry/tour hasn’t been updated in a while, and I’ve lost track of who’s been in and out of Ministry lately, but this mostly looks like a combination of the 2006 and 2008 lineups (the last two tours I saw Ministry on). Funny that Cesar is mentioned as a “longtime bandmember” now.

I wonder how big Burton’s role will be, aside from obviously his spoken word part in “Wargasm.” Will we hear the live debut of “Die In A Crash” or “End of Days”?

Al will make him sing all the “old” Ministry songs that he hates to sing. He did that on the 2008 tour.

Yep. As lame as the idea is of bringing someone else on stage to do the vocals for your classic tracks, I thought he was awesome on that tour because he was way into it and brought a big energy boost on stage for those songs. I felt the same about Campos. He obviously wasn’t the creative genius Paul was for the band or anything but watching him during Just One Fix I could tell he was just as into it as I was and that brought some authenticy to the table that Al lacked for those.

I cant tell one drummer fom the next. Unless they are really super shitty Im probably not going to notice th subtle nuances of each drummers style.

I seriously hope Bell aint singing again. And while i dont mind hearing So What a gazillion times as an encore im over hearing NWO and J1f. Hoping for filth pig or even stigmata that would be cool. Perfection would be The Fall.
