Thanks… I don’t know. that’s a good question! I’ll probably stay grmpy… although I’m told I’ll be no sleepysmrf after the kid is born. so grmpy should be even more applicable [:)]
We care not what we’re having, we just want healthy. We have names for both a girl or a boy. Right now it looks like a brine shrimp! I don’t necessarily want one over the other but whenever I think about it, I think of it or refer to it in conversation as a her.
We’re definitely gonna find out the sex of it as soon as we can… we want no surprises.
I already have put up a ceiling light/fan in the kids room. it’s got rockets and stars on it.The bowl that covers lights is a half hemisphere of the earth it looks pretty cool!
Pretty proud of it… I ran all of the wire had to cut a hole in the ceiling to mount it too! There was no existing fixture…but My father-in-law had to help me actually wire it to the switch (it’s a double switch on a single unit). but it works great and I’ve only shocked myself once!!! (normally I turn the power off but since I was dealing with plastic I didn’t. so, when I was trying to put the new wring box in the new dry wall patch i was pushing with the flat end of the screwdriver and my Screw driver slipped into one of the connectors!)
so, right now I’m teaching myself dry-wall in order to patch up the hole I made running the wire between the walls. I’ve got the hole all patched up and held with the screws to the studs, now I gotta do the compound, tape and texture and paint it and it should be good as new!

Being a dad is awesome. Although this may seem cliche, enjoy every moment. Time goes really fast. My youngest is now 6 (his bday party is today actually!), and when I look at pictures of him when he was a baby I don’t always remember.
