finally decided to listen to this. It’s not that bad. I mean, it’s no BS&Q, but it’s miles above C&L. I’d buy it.

i really fucking hope it’s remixed and remastered before release, as it’s nigh on fucking impossible to listen to with all that high end. christ, i’ve never heard anything so bad, so unprofessionally mixed (for a professional release). anybody that doubts al’s involvement only has to listen to the mix… he definitely had total control there. the tunes sound like they might be alright though, i just can’t get my head past the appaling, appaling mix. gargh.
ok, so i knocked the high end off just using the eq in media player, and although not perfect, the album is listenable. and i gotta say, i like it. it’s a million miles ahead of the previous album. gonna listen again now…
I only downloaded Cousins, Touch Screen and I’m Not Gay just because I like to buy an album and hype even if it doesn’t end up good. Cousins and Hookerbot3000 I heard a few months ago when I lived in Taipei, I remember they weren’t that bad but boring. Cousins I’m still iffy on the beat is awesome, the melody is firmilar, but overall it’s listenable and fun. I’m Not Gay, being the song everyone now associates with Sex-O Olympic-O is the same as I remember it, but now that I’ve been listening to that song since CULaTour it’s got a little boring. The first time I popped in Touch Screen I was knocked down flat. This song is the first song since Lay Lady Lay I’ve felt so strong about. Honestly there is nothing I would change about this track. I have already listened to this song well over 50 times and showed it to a bunch of friends, everybody is diggin’ this track. It gets in your head and refuses to leave. The high pitched horns in the chorus are awesome. If done right this song could become a HUGE dance hit. I’ll wait until the album comes out to hear the rest but I’m definitely going to self promote this track. I’m now glad they pushed it back, hopefully more promotion and this track has a video. I gave Sin an email about this track urging him to make this a single

I’ll second that! MA is the best manson Album out there! Although Holywood is ok. there are a few decent tracks on it. It’s listenable. I think the only one that is downright GAWD AWFUL is the newest one Drink me…I think it’s called. I played it a few times!

I like Cocked & Loaded too, but I certainly understand why most people don’t.
And “Jack In The Crack” is probably the worst song that’s ever had Al’s name associated with it.
Yeah, “Jack in the Crack” is true shit. I don’t know if I think it’s worse than “Test” but it’s certainly head to head.
